He's exciting against smaller fighters.... when he fights bigger fighters like Baldo, DLH he isn't... I don't think the Hatton fight was that great either...

why did you post a video of fights 5 years ago in an attempt to proove mayweather isn't a boring fighter today? didnt i mention the ricky fight or did your slow ass not read? some of you dont read the things that are written in the actual thread. how would a thread title tell it all? as i said, the fights with de la hoya an baldomir were not exciting but if you actually read what i said it will give you the reasons that you cant deny. besides those i welcome you all to list fights of his that were boring.

FM is a good fighter to watch if you're interested in the sweet science in practice, floyd has a measured calculating approach and if you want to see boxing as a science then watch floyd. however the measured calculating approach doesn't appeal to everyone so we see alot of mainstream sport fans and casual fans discredting floyd. me if i wanna watch boxing in its purest form i watch fighters like toney, mayweather and hopkins. but occasionally i wanna see a war and thats when vasquez/marquez, gatti/ward come out. alot of other peaople who hate on floydare those who discredit his resume and there is something slightly misleading about his belts at WW and LMW. i dont think that floyd is the best LMW but i do believe that he would beat cotto, and that he is the best WW. the fact thats hes actually a 140lb fighter and he can beat WW's and beat a DLH at 154 tells me this guy is an ATG

floyd is never boring against overmatched opponents. by necessity floyd must be defensive against guys that are naturally bigger than him.

I enjoy watching Mayweather fight whether hes giving a boxing lesson or toe to toe. He's good at everything and it's fun to watch.

He can be - DLH, Baldy. Hes also great to watch sometimes - Castillo, Corrales, N'dou, Chop Chop

i seen alot of people saying this but what mayweather fights have you watched? i bet you the only fight that people have seen is the de la hoya fight. although it wasnt the most exciting fight i bet you guys did not know that mayweather weighed in at 148 while de la hoya weighed in at 160+. mayweather had to fight a cautious fight because he was out weighed by more than 12 pounds. at least he had more balls than packyau to fight a live de la hoya at 154 when mayweather weighed in the same weight as packyau did for his fight with oscar which is 148. how come packyau didnt do that if they were both the same size on fight night going in against oscar? the only other fight that he had to fight cautious in was with baldomir because he was big too and mayweather had fractured hands. so all of you saying that mayweather is boring dont know shit as boxing fans because you talk based on 2 fights you have seen or heard of. watch all his others fights including rickys and see if hes boring. In the last 4 years, Floyd has been more mythodical than an actual entertainer in the ring. Hardcore Boxing fans may drool over it, but the people who pack the arenas (the casuals) would much rather see a Pacquiao-esque fight more than a 12 round pit pat fight.
