Something tells me Floyd is underestimating Pacquiao's abilities by bringing up fights from 4 years ago where Pacquiao has visibly gotten much better.
But here ya go
That was incredibly dumb, lets bring up fights that happened a long time ago and a bunch of Pacs losses are even questionable since the refs did bad jobs in them letting people use their elbows(something floyds known to do, he did it against hatton) and that one knock out of pac looked like a punch below the belt line but the ref was on the wrong side and did not see it. Body shots are not below the belt line, and that punch looked like a clear nutshot from his opponent.
Wow, and this is suppose to be the smartest boxer or so claims his fans? I swear when ever he opens his mouth he lets out some of the dumbest shit I've ever heard of.
Floyd is a very good fighter, not a great fighter. What makes a fighter great is his ability to meet other great fighters at a time in each other careers where both are at their peaks!! Look theres a lot of money to be made in boxings without taking the maximum risk and thats were Floyd has managed to do thru-out his career. He has/had the potential to be great but always erred on money and caution. That may be smart business but don't now ask to be concidered up there with the all time greats when you have always avoided dangerous fights. Floyd will retire a multi-millionare but I personally will never put him in the League of the Roberto Duran or Sugar Ray Leonard! He's now fighting Marquez, why because Marquez is a smaller man past his prime and will once agaiin make millions with reduced risk. What next retire again until there's a kink in manny's armor then come back and scream to fight him!You retired before to avoid Cotto and Margarito Good not Great and that's all he'll be
Floyd aint underestimating Pacquaio!
He aint stupid, he doesnt underestimate anyone
I was just about to post that.
The day Floyd underestimates his opponent, will probably be the day his "O"
goes.
To Manny's credit, he seems to have improved very much since his KO losses.
The big shots he took against Marquez, Barrera, and Morales show that his chin is pretty sturdy.
He really does sound like a desperate retard when he brings up mute points like these.
It always makes me laugh when he criticises Leonard for losing to a LW(Duran) and im thinking to myself that LW would rip you a new asshole so WFT are talking about.
Floyd also thinks he belongs in the same sentence as SRR. No matter of fact he thinks he is better. However Mayweather's best win is Castillo.
Pacquaio started boxing to earn money so he could eat.
He didn't have a boxing family, with a father and uncle who are great boxing trainers. He didn't have his younger years filled with boxing, filled with amatuer experience and an Olympic medal.
This is what is so great about Manny - he is truly a rags to riches story. This makes me respect him more than Floyd. Capturing the Flyweight Lineal title at 20, getting knocked out twice, coming back, moving up, capturing 3 more lineal titles up to 140 in truly devasting fashion. The guy is a legend.
Sounds like more excuses to try and justify not fighting him. Funny how he bigs up Marquez, yet writes off Pacquiao and constantly tries to discredit him by bringing up fights that happened YEARS ago. Why didnt Floyd bring up the fact that Marquez got beat by Chris John?
It's because Pac now is a different fighter. And why are losses so emphasised on nowadays?
I thought it was how you came back from a loss that defined you as a fighter.
