I think De La Hoya should have one last fight.
I mean, It's gotta bother him that he went out in such embarrassing fashion against Pacquiao.
Oscar had a great career, so why not end it in victory?
Maybe a farewell fight against Chavez Jr. or a rematch with Tito.
By no means does Oscar need to step back into the ring.
But as a fan, I would like to see him leave the sport with a win.
I'm sure it wasn't easy for him to accept retiring on such a bad note.

Oscar has nothing left to prove in the ring. He had a great run but now its over. The man is filthy rich, he owns Golden Boy Productions, He owns the Ring magazine. He is a force in boxing with out ever having to lace up any gloves ever again. What a lucky SOB.
forget the pacquiao fight...
just remember the one he had with journeyman forbes...
he was busted up like a battered wife by a journeyman...
he cant compete anymore...
:gives::lame::repost: for real...ur not gonna get far in this forum with these kinda threads.
Get far?
This isn't a job, son.
I'm just makin' conversation.
i prob would of been in the minority by saying yes, but that was b4 the retirement announcement. now i think he should stay the fuuk outta the ring ...
