It could be a devasting defeat, it could be a couple of losess, or a devasting injury who you got? nate campbel come to mind comeing back from the peden knockout, cos he let the guy ****ing hit him
You're definatly a retard. I reply in this thread to the Topic Starters question which isn't just the topic title, if you payed attention and read his actual post you'd understand that there's a reason for there being a title and an actual post.
So telling me to read the title is pretty redundant when the TS sets the criteria for what he wants to see talked about. Don't call me a dumbass when you flipped out on me because you didn't take the time to actually read the TS's post.
OK i won't call you dumbass anymore...
Moron.
Read the topic starters actual post you ****ing dolt, instead of only paying attention to the thread title and not the content of the actual ****ing post. You're an ignorant mother****er aint you. Going off on me because you're an utter retard. Oh and I would actually reguard them 2 losses to JT devestating as most boxers would not recover from losing twice when they're in their late 30s but Hopkins came back from that even better. Testament to him being one of the greatest.
Relax homey. Drink your medicine right now... You probably out of your dumb mind. Read the Thread title first before you read the content and reply with sense okay? Dumbass.
Losing two times in your late 30s would usually signal the end of most champions careers as would losing your first fight and first title shot? The losses themselves weren't devestating but the situations reguarding them losses would of been bad news for any boxer? I'm not even shittalking Hopkins that's testament to his awesomeness he's a top 50 ATG easy. Why the **** you getting so touche'? ugly ****ing cretin calm yourself down and stop being a little bitch.
Read the thread title moron.
Bernard Hopkins losing his 1st fight and to RJJ to getting over 20 MW defences? Also losing to JT twice and coming back from that beating Tarver?
The loss was not devastating you cunt. Mayweather mafia we're all cunts...
Bernard Dunne is a recent example, knocked out quick by Kiko Martinez, came back and won a title in a war against Ricardo Cordoba. Thinking of Dunne reminds me of Caballero who got knocked out by Rojas in 3 and then loss to Cordoba but is now a top guy at 122 with 2 belts.
Terry Norris. He got KTFO by Julian Jackson early on in his career but came back and had one of the best reigns at 154 pounds. Speaking of Julian Jackson, he got knocked out quite handily by Mike McCallum and came back to become one of the most feared punchers in history. Hagler had a few setbacks early in his career, came back to become the greatest middleweight of all time in many eyes. There are many, many more.
Floyd Patterson.
As much as everyone hates John Ruiz, I gotta give him credit for rebounding from the Tua massacre.
Ruiz never recovered from that loss to Tua. Tuaman ruined him for anything resembling a decent heavyweight. He was a pretty good boxer/puncher before. Afterwards, I never saw him do much other than the slug'n'hug technique that "endeared" him so in the eye of the boxing fans.
Barrera is the most prominent example of the contemporary era. Not only that, the way he did it (adapting his style so drastically) is virtually unique.

doooo-ran! doooo-ran! after hearns dismantled him...
