How much better would it have been had he rid himself of Yoel about 6 years ago?
I think his dad is a horrible trainer with no foundation.
Who do you think would have been a better fit for someone with such a fragile mindframe like Zab and how would things have been different?
He fell through the shower whilst having a wank
lol
Nah what really did happen to Judah to put that fight on halt?
Bust up with Yoel and Zab threw a Chair threw a glass pannnel dunno if it was a shower screen or a window and cut his arm all to shit in the process, tube.
I think the best trainner for Judah would have been Roach actually
Pac is a fast southpaw with a Big Left and nice right hook like Zab, Roach has made him 10x better Plus he seems real calm and cool in the corner i think Judah needs that
I don't think guidance is Zab's problem. He just cracks when the goin gets tough. Too bad cuz he got hellaskills.
One could say that one fights like one prepares, so that problem could be issues all stemming from camp. If your fighter is not completely mentally ready to fight, the trainer has to be at fault for that atleast a little.
i think stewart would be a wrong choice of trainer cause he likes boxers who use there jab alot and effective i might be wrong but thats my opinon but i think if he could have any trainer i think it would be roach or maybe a roger mayweather maybe ?
what do u think ?
Yea Yoel is not a very good trainer especially for someone like Zab. I think Roger Mayweather may be good for him, but maybe Floyd makes hm look better then he is because of how he wants to train (Zab is not known for his gym habits like Floyd). I think they would work well together though, but just about anyone would be better then Yoel.
Those were my thoughts for the exact same reasons. Zab has all the physical tools, but his mental capacity is seriously lacking. Yoel is just all wrong for him, too much chaos going on in that corner to truly be effective. Always yelling and getting out of hand.
You're right though, it does nothing for his chin, but I think he could have been a bigger force had he switched to someone else.
Naz would have been a good choice too.
Agree completely.
Judah himself is chaos embodied at times ; his fuse is really short, and his confidence can be shot down pretty quickly by an offensive fighter who can take his best.
He didn't need another explosive personality in his corner yelling like a moron inbetween rounds.
Someone like Steward or Naz is what he needed ; A calm voice of reason with actual insight who could keep a lid on his ass.
:fing02:
This is an interesting topic but in all honesty Judah is just a good fighter in a great division. Unless he hired a trainer that could fix his attitude, I doubt you would see a lot of change.
I doubt will see any change now from Judah
Great thread.
Yoel is a shit trainer, no doubt.
Zab would've benefitted greatly by switching trainers.
As for who would've been a better trainer for him, I'm inclined to pick Emmanuel Steward on this one.
He's calm, cool, collected, and knows how to get what he needs out of a particular fighter. I think he would be able to keep Zab's temper cooled down to a mimimum, so that he could focus and perform better.
As for how it would've been different, I'm not sure.
Maybe he wouldn't have done the "chicken dance"? :lol1:
