It wasn't close to being one sided. Barrera beat on Marquez's face, and marquez does not swell up this bad from any other fight even against harder puncher Pacquiao. So, Barrera was clearly landing his shots.

User The Dapeedreean, basically said on his topic that JMM destroyed Barrera. Am I the only one who had the fight close?
if JMM dominate MAB, you can as well say that Chris John dominates JMM..
MAB-JMM was closer than what the scorecards imply.. the 4pt swing on that KD round says it all..
I thought both guys fought a hell of a fight and I am a big JMM fan. But I had Barrera winnin the fight by a slight margin. At least when they were talkin to JMM in the post-fight interview he didn't hesitate to say he wanted a rematch unlike somebody else we know. Cough Chad Cough.
The fight coulf have gone either side by a point.
Also Barrera was an asshole for hitting Marquez when he is down. He lost the fight because of that bullshit he did. reminds me when Zidan headbutted Materazzi :D
The judges had it so one-sided that that didn't even factor into the equation.
No he didn't. As a fan of both guys I don't mind sayin I thought MAB won a close fight. I'm surprised Rich Loc ain't raisin hell up in here.
I'm with you mang, it was a close fight that could've gone either way.
If the ref (Nady if i remember) hadnt been daydreaming when Barrera scored that knockdown i believe Barrera would have won the fight.
Marquez went down on his hands and still on his feet, the ref didnt make it to the fighters in time nor was he vocal in warning/breaking Barrera off, i would have done the same thing
