Bernard Hopkins Interview (on Chad Dawson, Tarver & Froch)

Froch would fight him for half a million I bet.

Hopkins specifically used his excuse of not wanting to fight "20-something up and comers" that have a bright future as an excuse to not fight Dawson. But now he's pushing for a Froch fight? Lol.. yeah, ok.

Hopkins would kill Froch, so if Dawson wins tonight I would like to see them match up for Hopkins last fight, if he doesn't get that fight he should just retire. Hopkins would most likely out-box Froch, but he wouldn't kill him. Bernard doesn't have the workrate to take full advantage of Froch's limitations - and I certainly don't see Froch being stopped by him. Ironically, I feel Froch's uppercut might pose Bernard the most problems. If there is a crack in Bernard's armour it is versus the uppercut. But not the stupid lead uppercut that Froch kept throwing vs Taylor that kept getting countered. He'd have to lay the groundwork with the jab before letting it go or else he'd be made to pay.

I don't believe Dawson wants 50% for a second. That's just B-Hop bein B-Hop.

hopkins is one of my fav fighters. i think he's gonna fight froch because he wants to be a 3 division world champ, its one of the only things he hasnt done yet.
