WBO #1 heavyweight Alexander “Sascha” Dimitrenko will reportedly fight in a WBO heavyweight eliminator on July 4 in the huge Color Line Arena in Hamburg, Germany. According to BILD, Dimitrenko will face the top available contender, likely “Fast” Eddie Chambers.
For someone that is an expert on boxing, you would realize Chambers has heavyweight power, he's no Chris Byrd. Look what he did to Povetkin despite Chambers "losing". Had Chambers threw and landed more punches he would of TKO'ed Povetkin from cuts.

When did I say I was an "expert"? If anyone considers me an expert, that's their own opinions because I've never said anything to that effect.
Malignaggi was able to make Hatton look similar, it's not always about the power as it is the accuracy.
As far as Chambers and his "heavyweight power", what good is power if you don't go out and try to put a hurting on someone? Chambers has a safety-first temperment, even at the risk of giving away rounds. He has some power, but not enough for him to take chances to capitalize on an opponent.
If you noticed in the Peter fight, Chambers never countered any of Peter's misses. He would simply cover up whenever Peter threw at him and throw his shots when Peter stopped punching.
Dmitrenko has a big power advantage over Chambers and that might keep the counter-punches in the holster. Or it might not.
The idea being that, if Dmitrenko has to bridge the quality of opposition gap from prospect to contender, he should do so against someone who can't crack an egg and doesn't like being pressured.
Which is a great idea since Dmitrenko has some issues with his in-ring identity sometimes. Dmitrenko will make some mistakes in there, but Chambers won't be able to capitalize sufficiently.

As a Chambers fan I don't like this because even if he gets by Dimitrenko, he will face Wlad who hold's the WBO belt. He should fight Arreola or Kali Maheen. Lets just hope Wlad decides to drop the WBO belt. Let both Sasha's get an opportunity to fight Wlad.
I hope Eddie starts training once in his life like a maddog and schools Dimitrenko
He's training at the gym right now, I think he realizes that he doesn't need to weight 220lbs to be an effective boxer. Expect to see a lot more footwork from him.
Good news! I hope the inactivity hasn't had a negative effect on Sasha.
Eddie Chambers is a good fighter, but he's a good style matchup for Dimitrenko. Arreola, being a powerful puncher, would be a more difficult fight.
I still think Chambers will outbox him despite the obvious size disadvantage, I was hoping for Chambers vs Arreola though.
