**** that i gotfaith in my boy SSM chin. he wouldve treated that like a slap from jin.
How long do you think amir khan would be asleep for if he got hit by that punch...........he might even get killed....no sh1t
there is a genius poster here who said pacquiao doesnt hit hard... even @ 130... belittling david diaz and all... really genius stuff he was saying...i think his name here is hammerhiem...
When Manny said it was the best punch he ever threw gotta believe it would of knocked anyone out in JWW and WW. At first I didn't see the punch just seen Ricky hit the floor. When I watched the replay all of us(5 of us) in my house went woooaahhhhh. simply an amazing punch.
True, young Foreman used to throw stuff like that, esp to the body, thudddhhh. Tough to land something that telegraphed, even with Pac's speed, unless the opp is already hurt, like Hatton was at that point.
i remember when manny was just right jab , left straight.
now we're talking about overhands , hooks , counter hooks , roundhouse left. lol
the diaz fight he showed a nice short left cross too that ended it not the normal long straight left.
freddie has done a good job with the kid. very nice job.
It might have traveled 5 feet, but at supersonic speed. HBO's slow-mo replay showed the punch hit Ricky, he went down, and all the people watching front row was still on their asses sitting on their chair, that showed us how slow was their slow motion replay. Manny's punch was still fast at super-slow mo speed...
I was watching a GIF of that punch yesterday and it looked like everything was in slow motion except for the actual punch. I thought the video had been sped up at that point, then slowed back down. It hadn't, of course. It was an unbelievable punch.

it wasn't an overhand either.
manny called it a left hook but it's not a hook.
can we call it a roundhouse left? like how foreman use to throw those mean roundhouse rights.

What the hell was that punch? It sure as hell wasn't a straight left, was telegraphed like crazy, and traveled like 5 feet.

Honestly he was in perfect position for this left hand. His weight was coming forwad manny was at perfect distance timing was pin point. He landed so flush and right on the jaw and chin..Honestly pretty much any fighter JMW and down would have been out cold just like hatton. Hatton doesn't have a terrible chin so honestly I can't see many fighters not getting floored and many fighters recovering from that....Lefty
