With Pacman's 2nd round KO over Hatton, it seems Pacman is showing Mayweather that he can beat all his opponents, and better yet, he can do it even quicker than Mayweather. Pacman beat DLH and Hatton recently, both of which were the two last opponents of Mayweather as well. So now that Pacman has his spot as being the undoubted P4P number one, do you think Mayweather's status as P4P number one gone now regardless if he's inactive or not or does he have to prove himself once more since he left?
We know this match will inevitably happen and if Mayweather gets by Marquez, perhaps it will happen quicker. However Marquez isn't an easy opponent. So what do you think? Who's the true P4P king? Pacman or Mayweather? And if these two were to face-off at this present time who do you got winning?
Pacman has been on the top spot of my p4p list since shortly after floyd retired.
i think its more than safe to say (with the extensive layoff and such) that mayweathers best days are behind him...he's been inactive since his fight with hatton. i do believe he'll come back for a few more fights in his attempt to boost his legacy in the sport.
picking a winner between pacman and floyd jr is hard...they are pretty evenly matched as far as im concerned...not to much of a size advantage or disadvantage for either fighter...both have above average speed...defense leans toward mayweather...manny is a southpaw...freddy roach has experience in training a fighter to face off against mayweather so freddy can really put together a good game plan.
I think it would be pretty even and go to a decision. not sure which way i'd go...
Oscar is questionable. Hatton went up to fight Floyd where he was already ineffective as shown against Collazo. Thus, Manny fought Hatton on his turf as well as moving up to fight Oscar at an agreeable turf that should have favored Oscar as well. Manny blew them both away at their own turf. Mayweather barely beats Oscar with a split decision(that means someone had Oscar winning incase you didn't know), and it took him 10 rds to finally sloppily KO a smaller Hatton who even won some rounds on him. Your point is so invalid.
You're right but while you came to that conclusion, you forgot that both guys have different styles. Mayweather might be the bigger guy but he's a boxer. Hatton isn't a boxer. Even though I'd favour Pacman winning and I'd want him to win, you shouldn't overlook Mayweather's size, skill and defensive ability. Now you might say DLH was bigger than Pacman and Pacman still beat him but DLH is nowhere near the guy that Mayweather is. Mayweather has the definite size and reach advantage over Pacman which could be a determining factor. Pacman though is on a roll and Mayweather has been inactive for quite some time so one would hope that Marquez makes Mayweather work so when and if it comes time to fight Pacman, Mayweather won't feel ring rust. Just remember that Pacman hasn't fought a guy like Mayweather...
Pacquiao is pound for pound #1 currently. Floyd will erase him after July 18...
Floyd will be KTFO by marquez, then Pacman will do the closure on marquez:boxing::boxing::boxing:
exactly, pacman is showing that he can eat Mayweather's sloppy second leftovers. Even though Mayweather fought better versions of both fighters.

Man, this isn't even a question after last night. Shit, for me it wasn't even a question, 3 fights ago. Manny is without a doubt #1. Undefeated cherry picking opponents doesn't make you #1.
