**** off should he, all hatton would have to do is land one punch and khan would be asleep for ****ing weeks.
Hatton will fight one more time, for himself and his fans. Theres no way the last memory he wants his fans to have of him is of them coming thousands of miles to see him embarrased and knocked the **** out. He will DEFFO fight again in England.
One bad fight doesn't make a terrible fighter, you fickle cunts.
Mate, hes got all the money he needs, wont have the motivation anymore... time for him to hang them up. He has had a great career, it just ended badly.
What do you guys think??
Yeah, he has plenty of money... he will find it hard to get the motivation to come back from such a loss. I just wish him luck in the future...
Exactly. Nuthuggers are trying to make this out like Ricky was some great boxer, and now is getting unfairly labeled as a shite boxer for having two losses when the truth is, exactly as you put it, that he was overrated to begin with. He most definitely can't compete at 147, he isn't going down to 135, so 140 is the only divsion he can continue to fight in. He can probably still enjoy some success there, but he is (and never should have been) no longer a factor in the whole P4P debate.
As I've said in a few other threads.... people are too quick to tell Hatton to hang 'em up. Yes he is overrated and in my opinion never deserved to be in the ring with the likes of PBF or Pacquiao... but he is decent enough to be a contender at 140 or at least a challenger. If he thinks that's an insult to his skill or doesn't want to deal with less money per fight then he can pack it up.
But this fight didn't show that Hatton is done... it just showed that Hatton was never that great to begin with, something I've said for years at this point.
Hatton better stay away from Khan
i was thinkin the same thing,
freddie roach knew exactly how to work ricky.
I cant believe hatton didnt even try his new style of fighthing!
I suppose maybe it is time up for him
