The only thing we can criticize about Hatton losses is the way he fought, he absolutely didnt bring his A game, ricky fans, they gotta be sore about that, I agree thou, losing to p4p kings aint bad, but he could've done a lot better.

Good thread. Dude is gettin attacked and abandoned by the same cats who were lovin him before the fight. It's shady. Dude got smoked, but tried his ass off. It's sad. I predicted Hatton would win by 8th round KO, but that was just speculative, and I was trying to be positive. After watching my Pac dvd's again before the fight, I knew Hatton was a severe underdog. Still, even though he got knocked out in the 2nd round, and didn't get into the fight, I still applauded him, as did the other 500 or so people watching the fight in the bar. He put his neck on the line, and Pac brought down the axe. It was sad, but I still have a lot of admiration for the guy. He only ever wants to please his fans, and he did please them; most people were pleased that he wasn't seriously injured. Not the fake fans though. These are the guys that predicted Hatton would destroy Pac, and because the opposite happened, and their forum rep went down a bit, they are trying to join ranks with the other haters, and label Hatton as a bum.

I felt sick last night when I saw Hatton on the canvas. It was like my dog getting hit by a car or something. Hatton fought the 2 best fighters in his era so for that he gets major props. And he fought them in their prime!!! Nothing to be ashamed of.

I agree, credit to Ricky Hatton. There is no shame in losing to the P4P #1 in the world, and it also happens that both these fighters are 2 of the best of this decade. Take nothing away from Hatton's career, he has been successful, made millions of pounds, won 2 titles in 2 weight classes and challenged the best. So credit to him! true....................
