Didn't Roger Mayweathers fighter look like absolute shit while sparring Hatton? He looked incredibly slow, and it seemed edited in a way to make it seem like Hatton was a monster.
Why would they stage it? They have no reason to. The reality of how much Hatton has improved will come out in the fight anyway. No need to stage anything.
just caught the replay again and it and theres a lot of sly editing to make hatton seem incredible, but it looks like the corner cheering was filmed just as much if not more than ricky was during the session. I was pretty dissapointed as I was really interested in seeing how Ricky looked in sparring.
Yeah, Hatton didn't look too special in the footage, but then again we didn't get to see all that much. That's one thing I like about Pacquiao, he allows people to have full access to his sparring sessions.
What about the possibility of Ricky being poop being staged?? I have heard Floyd Snr talking about how he really likes his sparring to be private as its the 'real' tactics and he is actually pretty strict as to what goes on tv...
I remember when Floyd Jr was preparing for Ricky they brought Baldomir in there and just showed 4 seconds of him slowly hooking at Floyds body while he tried to cover up and lean away (ie.. showing the supposed vulnerability to Hatton chasing him down and pinning him on the ropes..) and we all know what happend in that fight :D
the whole thing seemed staged for 24/7 with mayweather and others obviously acting out their support for something hatton was doing during a lackluster and half paced sparring session.
Yea, thats exactly what I thought. It looked like they were all acting, including Hatton. I think HBO were just pushing for some footage but the Hatton camp refused to show anything, so they settled on a bit of staged footage..

lol i know, it looked fake. Hattons gonna die, horrible style matchup for Hatton, perfect for Pacquiao.
Straight puncher vs pressure fighter with no defense = KO. Runs right into it.
I wasn't impressed either. Overall, I would say Pac showed to be the better trained fighter based on the footage 24/7 provided.
How much does it mean?
Not sure.
Wish there was a lot more footage.

Look pretty staged to me. Hatton didn't even look good. Slow, no head movement, leading with his face. I think I'm going to win an easy $500 tomrrow.

Hatton ate a left straight before his sparring partner was shown down on his knees...
