Las Vegas bookies are basing the favorite on Pac's last performance. They are hardly the genuine fans of the sport that look at each and every piece of the puzzle. Yes, they know statistics and shit, but they don't know combats sports like experts. It's not like basketball, baseball, or other sport where the best team can pretty much beat worse teams. Fighting is relative and each fight is different. Hatton appears to be the favorite among boxing experts. And it's funny when they all say that Hatton might pull the upset, because the only people who think Pac is the favorite (not including true Pac fans) are the Las Vegas bookies and gamblers. Most boxers, analysts, commentators and trainers seem to be leaning toward Hatton, because of his size and strength.
i think all pac fans are in for a huge shock!
They shouldn't be. Let's look at this for what it is: A little Asian dude who started out smuggling chunks of metal into his pockets just to try and make minimum weight in boxing, fighting at 140 for the first time. Not only that, but in the opposite corner stands the 4-year, undefeated champion who is naturally larger. Seriously -- why would anyone be shocked at any outcome of this fight? No outcome would surprise me, although I have Pacquiao winning in a very brutal fight. That's the most logical outcome, but this is a dangerous fight for either man.

Fail.
Hatton is a huge underdog, and im not surprised. Pacquiao will win this fight quiet easily and im ready to bet all my points on it.
i agree this thread is a fail
I don't know where you got that shit but the only one of note that picked Hatton was Teddy Atlas and that alone should tell you everything.
:lol1:
I think Hatton has a solid shot at winning too.
Not sure if he will, but I was so far leaning his way for the win.
Hopkins changed his mind, for whatever reason, and is leaning towards Hatton.
Mosley didn't explicitly choose a sure winner. He said Manny is the favorite but Hatton can pull the upset.
Experts from one magazine don't constitute the consensus of all experts.
Okay, don't matter too much anyways. Hatton shouldn't be the underdog lets just put it that way, and tomorrow night we're gonna find out why..
They are so called, "experts". You said most experts are picking Hatton. 17 out of 20 of Ring Magazine experts are picking Pacquiao. Even Bernard Hopkins and Shane Mosley are picking Pacquiao and they are with Goldenboy with Hatton..

OH WOW!! RING MAGAZINE!! YOU GOT ME THERE BUDDDY!!! If THEY SAY SO.....
what a joke...

You don't seem to understand how betting shops work. They don't have any agenda in having Pacquiao as favourite, that's just where the money's gone. For example, if thousands of people started to bet on Hatton then Hatton would be the favourite going into the fight. No bookie has Pacquiao favourite because they think he is going to win, they're just working the odds to make them as much money as possible
Okay, so I was right. Pac is not even the real favorite. He's only favorite to gamblers and bookies who aren't genuine fight fans, at least not most of them. And the "experts" ARE picking Hatton to win.
Wow 17 out of 20 ring experts? So there are exactly 20 ring experts in this world?
Funny, because out of the "experts" I've seen, most are picking Hatton. Biased or not they are picking Hatton. Just because you only count the ones YOU see, doesn't mean that that's it.
With all due respect, this website's boxing experts are not much more if not any more qualified than some posters in this forum. They aren't ex pros, trainers or the like. They are writers and fans.
Ring Magazine experts....
Is this a joke? Nearly every boxing "expert" is picking Pacquiao. 17 out of 20 Ring experts pick Pacquiao. Heck, even the majority of this website's boxing experts pick Pacquiao. The only people picking Hatton are the British and the few in the know..

Hatton certainly has a fair shot at victory, but let's be honest, Pacquiao should whoop him!
Pacquiao is a full level above Hatton, and Hatton's punch resistance is fading fast
