The only fight I can remember in the modern era is Eubank Vs Thompson II in 98.
Can anyone enlighten me of any more recent ones?
This is curiousity not Pac Vs Hatton arguement related, so please keep that out of it if you can resist it.
I remember being surprised at one that didn't get stopped.. The face of George Foreman during & after the 12 round war with Alex Stewart... Although Foreman clinched it, his face resembled a space hopper..
Finnish boxer Juho Tolppola was stopped due to facial swelling in a fight for the EBU title against Gianluca Branco in Italy.

It was controversial because Tolppola seemed to be winning or atleast fighting very evenly at that point and the swelling didn't seem to be bothering him.
I remember that. Tolppola was doing well, it should never have been stopped.

man thats a sick injury, was that an eyesocket break?
I do not know, but along with Rahman that is the most blown out eye in the history of boxing I think anyways.
Mosley Vargas 1? Maybe that eye was grotesque.
Big time fights anyways, small time I do not know.
