Do anyone believe he would win? I for one did lol.
Anyone think different of him now?
Yes. Predicted a KO more than 9 months ago.

I had it pretty much dead-on with the schooling, but my worst fear came true in the end. No, I don't think any differently of the Crotch. Taylor, however, went down big time in my estimation.
I thought he had a chance and he took it and won i wonder what the score cards where?
It would of been a split decision victory for Taylor if he survived.
I wasnt sure how good Froch really was because he never fought anyone. But from what i had seen of Froch and what i knew of JT i thought Froch would or could beat JT.
Im not sure Froch thought he could beat JT though. I think Froch might have been shocked when he stopped JT in the distance.
Those werent beatings. That was b-hop being to conservative. I hate Hopkins when he does this. Of course the Hopkins I love is the Hopkins who faced Tito Trinidad :yeha: what a great fight that was. That is b-hop. The b-hop that beat Pavlik, that is b-hop. The b-hop who faced calzaghe, that is the conservative b-hop I hate but Calzaghe is that damn good too. But Taylor is not on a Calzaghe level, I never thought so and I am very convinced now.
He won the fights regardless.
One of the most famous fights in Denmark was won by taking a knee.
Dave 'boy' Green defended his EBU title in Denmark against 36 year old Jorgen Hansen. Green poured it on and pinned Hansen on the ropes landing good shots. The terrified Hansen took a knee and a mandatory count. Later in that second round Hansen came back scoring several times with his big right hand.
The fight was over in the next session as Hansen completely destroyed Green with devastating rights. So taking a knee to get some peace worked here.
At the time Green was a top contender having lost in a worldtitle bid to Carlos Palomino. Later of course he was brutally stopped by Sugar Ray Leonard.
That's slightly different than what I intended to express, i.e. a fighter winning a decision by taking a knee in the final round/final seconds of a bout, but still an extreme rarity - I can't really recall many other fights like the one you mentioned either. Almost invariably the fighter who takes a knee ends up losing one way or another.
The smart move would have been to take a knee, but I don't think I've ever seen a fighter win a bout by utilizing such a strategy - world class fighters have too much pride or just instinctive aversion to being on the canvas to allow for the thought to enter their mind.

Truth be told, all stupid Taylor had to do was run and he might have pulled it off but I am glad that Taylor did not win because I don't think too highly of him anyway. He never beat b-hop, b-hop beat himself and you know it.
I personally thought he should of taken a knee. He would of still won on the cards if he did.
I would of perferred Taylor to win but thats only because i don't like Froch.
Watching the Hopkins - Taylor fights i can't help but feel that Hopkins could of done alot than he did, He just seemed fine with having close rounds where if he upped his workrate abit he would of won. Taylor wasn't making him work or anything so he could of certainly upped his workrate.

Taylor beat BHOP...........
my heart said Froch, but head said Taylor, so didn't place a bet, not bothered, we witnessed a classic fight, and shall be betting on Froch who ever he fights next, you might Knock him down, but he'll do everything he can to make sure he comes back and knocks his opponent, he way he finished Taylor with poise & pure calmness showed why he is world class, Kessler next then super fight with that ducking Welshman in Cardiff in front of 80K fans!
I did, certainly, however, I wouldn't have bet on it, But I slightly favored Froch no question. I like Froch's style aginst Jermains style better, plus Froch I think was more confindent ard determined. Taylor at times looked like he wasn't motivated for the fight at the press conferences. Nottingham should be proud.
I didn't think that he would win, but acknowledged that he would be dangerous.
Froch has definetely risen in my world, but probably not as much as Taylor has fallen. I was very high on Taylor and it is so frustrating that a guy as talented as him let his fans down the way he did. Not because of lack of heart, because that he has, but because of lack of stamina.
We all knew he had stamina issues, but I for one expected that he with a good camp and a higher weight could overcome them. I guess he couldn't.
