Froch would probably knock Jones out late but I can see Jones having his moments and I wouldn't count him out of this fight because of the styles matchup.

This is actually an interesting match up. Jones still has incredible handspeed and accuracy from a variety of angles. Even midway through the Calzaghe fight he was still able to land some good shots like that monster uppercut that would have put lesser fighters out. Froch outworks Roy in a somewhat competitive fight. Roy doesn't get knocked out. Roy is washed up but I think he'd finish on his feet. People must remember Froch is easier to hit, and not as awkard as Calzaghe. Joe's slick and crafty same reason Bernard gave em trouble. Froch isn't going to outwork anyone with boxing ability. He already demonstrated quite clearly in the Taylor fight that if you do anything remotely resembling boxing and or counter punching, he loses his will to throw punches. He only started throwing punches when Taylor stopped punching back. Froch doesn't have the kind of balls needed to walk through fire and bull fighters into submission like Liberado Andrade does.

Jones has stamina issues. Nothing even approaching the issues Taylor has.

The Roy Jones of today would still take Froch to pieces. He is still faster than Taylor. He still has better reflexes than Taylor, he still has better stamina than Taylor. He still is more accurate than Taylor. He still hits harder than Taylor. Froch is too slow to capitalize on Roy's faded reflexes. This fight would end up looking much like the Shieka fight.

Uh Jones is way faster than Taylor and doesn't suffer from stamina issues. Carl is there to be hit. I say Jones, most likely by KO. Jones has stamina issues.

Froch KO. No question. Jones is a future hall-of-famer. He was also totally shot when Calzaghe beat him, and won't be any less shot now. RIP RJJ - Retire in peace. Please. Jones hits harder and more accurate than Taylor. If he manages to keep Froch of him he might hurt him and stop him. Roy would have a much better chance if he still had good footwork.

At this point Froch would DEMOLISH RJJ. A strong,pressure fighter with a solid chin vs a badly faded RJJ= Not good for RJJ no need for that fight to happen.
