This has probably been discussed else where, however as this fight wasnt shown live in England (which I think is shocking)
Do you guys think he has a future making fights in the states?

Actually,I do see him having a future, but I'm not sure if this fight will make him huge.Perhaps his next big name fight will.Taylor's reputation was tarnished once Pavlik destroyed him.Saying that,Taylor still looked good in terms of ability (note that I am saying ability, not reputation)-he actually would have won the bout if he just took a knee as he was outboxing Froch most of the rounds,so to say he is "past it" is a lie.Taylor's problem lays in 2 things-1, he has always had issues with stamina in the late rounds and 2- he has a problem with pressure fighters.God only knows why,he loses to people who aren't half as skilled as him.
Anyways, before anyone thinks I am making up excuses for Taylor,Id like to give Froch credit for pulling out the upset and defeating a very game Taylor, and pulling out that defeat.A close call for his belt, but he persevered.I am not positive how he will do against Kessler,Arthur Abraham (he is soon to join the smw division),or a rematch with Taylor, but at least this fight helps get him recognition-he earned it.
froch has made a name for himself.
I still think he's very amatuerish. I give him credit for beating taylor, but taylor is a gatekeeper. He needs to refrain from letting his left hand ....guard down...too easy to get hit

nothing special. Taylor is a bitch and fought like one. Taylor is a slightly better version of Judah. He has all the physical tools but he is a mental midget.
Froch's victory was alright but if Taylor had the mental capacity, he would have finished Froch off after the knockdown.
No, they'll just call him a bum until they're blue in the face regardless.
He's good, but he's still got a lot to prove. I agree, and he can start by refraining from leaving his guard down....that's inviting trouble
Froch's got a great chin but I'd like to see him fight someone who doesn't get gassed after 6 rounds. He's extremely easy to outbox but he has power so whomever fights him must watch out.
Froch is a decent fighter. He gives angles that make him difficult to hit but it looks like he has balance/footwork issues. Great chin tough fighter overall but wasn't all that impressed watching him take out Jermain like he did.
People really need to stop saying that. There is nothing about Froch that makes him difficult to hit. If you swing, you will hit him flush on the face... every single time.

why do you care what americans think of him. great britain is a grat boxing nation on his own, I admit it, even if im not brittish
We have some great domestic level fighters at the moment, and I think Boxing is undergoing a bit of a revival at the moment. The I was out of curiousity really, its good to get the opinion of guys looking at Froch with fresh eyes.
I always like froch, but i had my reservations about this guy, and especailly in this fight.....but now i'm a huge ****in fan of this big tank from the british empire.
To be fair Froch has a big gob, and I have followed his career (and seen him live) from the start. He always talked a good fight and I respected the fact he wanted to do things properly IE british commonwealth, european then WBC title (the one he sees as important).
For about 18 months he did struggle to get fights and had a number of injuries, at 31 he cant hang around, he can bang and has a solid chin but since fight one THAT LEFT HAND IS TOOOOO LOW!!! It does mean he will be in exciting fights and wants to fight the best which is what boxing needs.
It was a gamble going to the states and fair play to him, would love to see him in with Kessler
