Man i been rockin with this dude jt for a while even after the two losses to palvick and two close decisions with bhop also winky..
1. This guy had one of the best trainers (emanuel stewart) and refused to listen to him about keeping his left hand up.. This fight against frosch he keeps his hands up untill when the end of the fight.
2. How many times are u gonna say u trained your hardest but u get fatigued after he 6 or 7th all the time..
3. No heart no heart no heart.. U got 3 mins left to be a champ..let ya hands go brother.. Its like he shut off after the 6th rd..
someone who fights with the style taylor does has heart. someone who fights the way hopkins does occasionally or mayweather does has no heart. they fight not to lose, taylor fights to win. he's going to lose occasionally, but the brightside is he's made two guys into stars during his loses
Ok im dumb rocky how...?
Come on the 2nd pavlick fight he went 12 rounds but u gotta WANT it more than the other guy and he didnt..
and i have heard emanuel stewart question his heart on air.. dont see u calling him dumb..
Just forget i said anything on this thread..
and p.s rocky you dont even know me to say " i dont box" So i wont even correct u..
NEXT IN LINE how does this statement make sense? I give Froch all the respect in the world for He just wanted it so bad int he end, and he KO'd Jermain. But for him to stand up after the first knockdown, and trying to fight back on instinct when he could, shows he has heart.
It always Comes down to who wants it more... yea taylor got up but if he wanted it more than why didnt he let his hands go he stopped in the 8th or 9th rd.. he lets his hands go evert 20 secs..
BOTTOM LINE IS WHEN A FIGHT IS ON THE LINE U STEP IT THE **** UP.. HEART HAS MORE TO DO THAN IN THE RING... IF STAMINA IS HIS ONLY PROBLEM.. THAN U GOTTA HAVE WILL AND ****ING HEART TO WORK HARD AND BE DETERMINED!!
LISTEN TO EMANUEL STEWART WHEN TAYLOR FOUGHT SPINKS....

Ok, but you can't say Jermain has no heart...
I don't think he wants to known as one of the best to do it. If he did, he would correct this stamina problem by training harder or doin wateva he aint doing.
I don't think he sleeps, eats, drinks boxing.

A lot of morons here need to learn the difference between heart and stamina.
Jermain showed a ton of heart in the 12th round; more than we've ever seen out of him. You don't get off the canvas, dead tired, to get pounded on some more unless you've got heart.
Taylor could've taken a knee with 15 seconds left and probably finished out the round, but he never quit. He stayed on his feet and made the ref stop the fight. That's heart.
Not having the energy to mount any offense late in the fight... that's stamina. And it's shameful, because his job is to prepare for 12 round fights and he can't seem to get it right.
What a fool!
Taylor was a warrior tonight, there was nothing he could do, he was getting hit with bombs at the end yet he still got up, and tried to hang in there. He's got more heart then you'll ever have. So get over it the man you thought would win lost, taylors never quite in a fight.
When froch was hurt in this fight which was a couple of times clearly he didn't back up and stop throwing punches. He fought on, wouldn't that mean his heart is bigger then taylors?
No.... it depends how badly you are hurt; Taylor was hurt more. To accuse Taylor of lacking 'heart' is out-of-order IMHO.
jt has huge heart...........if the way he fired those 4-5 punches when he was half dead doesnt show heart, i dont know what does......he just doesnt have confidence in himself, he didnt press the advantage in the third, and he just couldnt dig deep enough to fire punches when he was tired...
If you're dominating a fight for 5 rounds, including a knockdown, and quit fighting without getting hit, you have no heart, plain and simple
And I agree, and I don't know why since you talk shit about Vitali all the time. Vitalis situation was different when he quit against chris byrd, because of the fact he had a serious injury that could have cost him his entire career if he choose to fight on. You magically want to believe byrd would have ko'd vitali if it went on even though byrd did have a great round before vitali quit but Vitali still dominated the fight.
I think Jermain puts all of his strength behind all of his shots early on, but as the fight progresses his muscles tire and his stamina just falls apart. He needs to try and just box not slug and throw bombs.
Either that or he just aint doing his roadwork or sumtin...
his stance also wastes A LOT of energy
Taylor is who he is. Like Froch said, an animal doesn't change its stripes. JT actually fought a pretty good fight but, on this night, credit should go to Carl Froch who fought a better one and did it in grand style. Kudos to an impressive title defense.

I agree on all points and I'm a well documented JT fan on these boards. He's got all the skill in the world, but he's a VERY dumb fighter and he has no heart. The stamina thing is just bizarre to me. He's always dominating a fight and then he just stops fighting around round 6 for no reason.
Its sad but i think there is something mental there because he had seconds to hold out and he couldnt do it not just boxers but if you are a man you would try as hard as possible to hold on.
Im sorry but he didnt even seem that bothered just took it on the chin and kept it moving. That not what I want to see
