I'm getting that feeling, Hatton's going to win

Ricky will move to his right, try to jab his way in, get hit with the left hand, manny steps off, hatton repeats till he gets stopped. He think he can get manny by making him fight off the back foot, thing is, manny aint gonna be there for him to hit after he lands that left. You heard it here 1st. Forget feelings, he's gonna employ the wrong tactics right away, 1st couple of rounds it will be close, thats hatton's best chance right there if he does his bull rushing, but the speed difference is gonna become very apparent, footwork and timing and cliniching wins the fight for hatton. He wont do it, he steam in head up thinking about the fight being at 140 and getting manny on the back foot. He prolly wont even see the shots coming. That's exactly what I thought was going to happen, till I heard hatton and mayweather Sr talking. Seriously, he's talking about steaming in, this time with a jab, trying to get manny on the back foot, he's f.uckin nutz for real. Freddie roach has had months to prepare Pacman for the tactic hatton is gonna employ, same as when Mayweather Jr spanked him a while back, Hatton's needs to mix it up to have any chance, but he doesnt, as result, youv'e got a fighter who has spent months preparing to be rushed and mauled will use lateral movement and timing to land the shots, then Hatton doesnt have a plan B. He's got to fight smart, and box very smart, its about the WAY he gets inside pac, He's gotta circle away from the left, come in with the jab, right hand, hug, foul. Its a bit by bit process. He wont do that, the guy is talking about steaming in, but moving his head as he does it, trust me, he's never seen speed like manny will bring to him, when he comes in straight lines, he's got a few rounds to do some real damage or he's getting hurt. Forget the bigger man crap from team hatton, he's got to use the correct footwork more than anything in this fight, that's what gets him inside. After the fight, you can blame mayweather sr btw, thats if hatton loses. Hearing these two talk tactics about the fight is crazy, I hope they are trying to lull pac into a false sense of security, because right now, Freddie Roach knows exactly what they are gonna try and do and he's had months to prepare pac for the same tactics. All they will do for pac is emphasize on lateral movement, staying off the ropes and hitting on the move. Here's what I was saying weeks ago. Got a few things right I think.

I base most of what I believe in boxing on facts, but for the Pac-Hatton fight I just have a gut feeling Hatton is going to win. The feeling started a few days ago, and now I really believe it. I think if Ricky Hatton just pulls a Ricky Hatton against Pacman, he will win. I don't think Pacman has ever had to deal with anyone this strong physically, nevermind someone that uses his strength as one of his main assets. Hatton's handspeed is also good enough to keep Manny honest, which I think is why Pac looked so good against DLH. Don't crucify me if you think I'm wrong, it's just a gut feeling. However, if I'm going with facts and what I know, I guess I would just say this will be one of those fights where the winner is the one who can impose his style. If Pacman is able to dart in and out, landing combinations, he will win. If Hatton is able to body Pacman up, and fight his fight, he will win. And I just think that Hatton is going to pull it off. You heard it here first. Don't be shy to hammer me on this if it doesn't pan out. Stylistically they will both present issues for each other. Hatton has proven he cannot deal with southpaw's and he has shown a frail chin recently. However Manny has never been put on his heels the way Hatton will put him on his heels. Having said that this might simply come down to the fact that Pacuqiao is a better fighter when all said and done, and that will tell as the fight wears on. You make a good point though, if Hatton can hunt the body early & wear Pac down, he might have a good chance of late stoppage. However if he punches him self to stand still and wears himself down, because of the holding,mauling he will become easier and easier to hit as the fight wears on, and i dont think a tired Hatton is taking Pacquiao's best shots. Not when Lazcano was hurtng him. I have not even mentioned the speed disparity yet.

i dont think mannys thats special, i think hattons seen it all before, dealt with tougher fighters and tougher styles nah, hatton's never fought someone w/ pac's speed and southpaw stance. hatton can neutralize it by grappling tho... that's the only way he wins.

End of the day this discussion can go on and on...some people rate hatton and some don't its the same with any boxer. If as some of you think he is just a hugger then fair play to the lad he has done one hell of a job becoming a two weight world champion with only 1 loss to his name by the best boxer p4p on the planet. Others (including me) think that he prefers a fight on the inside and could have a boxing match inside a telephone box, this style is disliked by americans and is bad for ppv, its damn effective though and makes opponents clinch to stop the barrage. Either way theres no arguement that his style wether you see it as a good or bad style has got the man to 2 fights against p4p no.1's. BTW i've mentioned in the past i think that Hatton's stength will be 2 much for Pac and i see hatton winning by KO in the 4th

Manny actually has more KO's (36 vs. 32) but he also had 7 more fights, so naturally, it's lower because the more fights you have, the lower the ratio gets. The more fights you have the better the opponents are. If Hatton has 7 more fights (so he can match Manny's number of fights) I'd guess his KO ratio gets lower because the level of competition usually rises. I question how Pacman will take a clean hard shot from a strong guy at 140. This is one example below, of how Pac recovers from a bomb. If Hatton handles a bomb as well, unlike in the PBF fight, then it will be a long fight. Unlike in the PBF fight??? Floyd landed bombs all night long. When did Hatton get KO'd in that fight again?? If Pac gets knocked down against Hatton - he stays down. This aint no featherweight Pac's dealing with.
