I mean in the future, obviously. Both boxers seem to have great futures and they only have a 4 pound difference.
I think Juanma would because of Gamboa's poor defense.
Speed kills Gamboa would overwherlm Juanma hes never been hurt and if he fights like he did hes last outting against rojas who i think he gave more respect and caution then he deserved he would make Juanma's cannons useless.
Timing can often trump speed and Juan Manuel Lopez has excellent timing. Watch a few of his fights that aren't 1st round knockouts, the guy has a knack for placing punches at a spot before his opponent even knows what's coming.
geeez...
what a great fight would that be!!!
what about gamboa-valero?
drool worthy doncha think?
Mos def Valero vs gamboa will be an excellent fight!!!! But i see Gamboa kissin the canvas with both fighters

Gamboa although has been knocked down by lesser opponents gets up quickly hence never really getting hurt, just wanted to point that out. But this would be a good fight, a war while it lasts, Juanma has a chin but has been dropped once in his career, so it could happen again, and Gamboa 4 times. Both are untested, but should they face each other in a few years it would be huge.
juanma by ko. i think we haven't seen how fast can be juanma.
remember that he only need two left hooks to ko his opp in 1rd. i don't see gamboa getting up after juanma's big punch
Right hooks not left hooks.. He's a southpaw don't forget.
Man is it me or Gamboa is flying up the rankings, he just got here and now he's fighting for a title?
Yea, his promoters are moving him up quick.
If he gets through Rojas tonight, he'll face Chris John for the WBA championship.
Juanma have the more power and the better chin, Gamboa have the faster hands and the experience.
Right now, they are both untested so this is a 50/50, plus Juanma havent even fought yet at FW, and Gamboa might be moving to 130.
So in 2 or 3 years from now, we might now.
At 126 right I will say Juanma catches him early and he doesnt get up!!!!!!

I can't believe people some people are choosing Gamboa over Juanma, the guy is superior in almost every way than Gamboa.
Gamboa seems reckless at times and has been dropped by tomato cans.
