But the first 2/3 of the fight were on the verge of being masterful especially in a fight of that magnitude.

I don't like to stir the boat but I'm inclined to agree with you. Screw what the announcers were saying, I thought Spinks beat Taylor as well. Spinks stinks. That fight sucked so much it should be a crime to even mention that fight in any discussion or internet forum. Spinks stunk out the joint that night so he deserves to get the loss in that fight regardless.
