Lets say Pac were to beat Hatton is the same fashion Floyd did, or even better. Who should receive more credit for the win.
Prior to Floyd facing Hatton, Hatton was the undefeated LWW champ of the world. Hatton then moved up to 147 and had a poor showing against Collazo (a fight in which many people feel Collazo won). He then went back down to 140 to UD Urango and KO'd Castillo. In his very next fight, he moved back up to 147 to face Floyd, and lost via TKO. Hatton went on to have 1 more fight against Lazcano with his previous trainer before dumping him for Floyd mayweather Sr.
Since aquiring Floyd Sr as his new trainer, Hatton has had only 1 fight against Paulie Malignagg in a fight where many people feel that Hatton's skills have improved. Hatton won via stoppage.
Hatton is now scheduled to fight Pacman in his comeback Mega Fight back at his most dominate weight-class 140. At this point, Floyd Sr has had ample time to get Hatton ready, and hone Hatton's skills that were missing with his prior trainer. From the training vids, it shows that Hatton has developed better defense, punching skills, and speed. Many feel that this version of Hatton will be the best that he's ever been.
So my question is: Who will have faced the better version of Hatton, and who will/should recieve more credit for a win over him?
Was Hatton ruined after the Mayweather fight, or has he ressurected into a completely new and improved fighter?

When i was 15, I weighed 160. I now weight 165 what your point not neverbody gets bigger as they age
Ok, and when Floyd was 15, he was an amatuer fighting at 126. He's now fought all the way up to 154. Does that mean he's still a natural 126lber? He walks around at around 150.
LOL. I never understood these guys who are always complaining about how so and so started out at ____ weight, therefore that is his natural weight.
When i was 15, I weighed 140. I know weight 185. Does that mean i'm a natural 140lber? NO!

Yeah, well when I was 10 years old I weighed less then I do now... so WTF does that mean?
People cant become naturally heavier? THey can't grow? Just because he started out 130lbs doesn't mean hes still the same size...
He sure as hell isn't.
When Hatton is forced to make 140lbs... he is better, much better.. plain and simple.

That WW excuse for Hatton is a JOKE. Since PBF started at a lower weight and also Hatton outweighed PBF. Isn’t funny how Hatton is constantly talking about being the bigger man against Pac.
Did you know just before the weight in Hatton dehydrates 4 pounds?

How many times have you been told , Floyd beat him at his best weight , look at fight weight not weigh-in weight , its not hard just think about it !
You're a moron if you believe Ricky Hattons best weight is 147...
Forget about fight night weight... Its about having to take off that extra 7 pounds during training camp that gets Ricky prepared.. and its PROVEN being that hes undefeated in 42-43 fights at 140... and has one controversial horrible looking win and a knockout defeat at 147.
The answer is staring you right in the face, and it isn't welterweight.
floyd deserves more credit.. but manny pacman will get more credit.. too many pbf haters
im not too convinced with the weight thing.. pacman has been weighing in at fight at the welter weight limit since his fights at 130.. pbf is not really a big welter and really A NATURAL 135/140 pounder so the fight with pbf and hatton was basically 2 junior welters fighting
Floyd.. Hatton came to the US as a undefeated champion and went home KTFO with no ''0'' and broken down so much he need Floyds father to help him out now.
Hatton is essentially Floyd's leftovers now
he's been awfull since, and i reckon it ****ed his mind up
Hatton wasn't all that good before he fought Mayweather anyway.
Pac should get more credit beating Hatton at his best weight.
Pacquiao for the folllowng reasons...
1. Hatton that fought Floyd had never experience defeat and was over confident.
2. Hatton that fought Floyd was not comfortable at higher weight.
3. Hatton had no good trainer compared today (according to Hatton camp)
4. Floyd was naturally bigger and taller.
1. Hatton that will fight Pac is more experienced and will be extra careful
2. Hatton will be in his most comfortable weight.
3. Pac is naturally smaller and shorter.
4. With Floyd Mayweather Sr in hatton's corner will be totally different (according to his camp).
There is no such thing as left over in boxing unless the fighter is still in his prime...
Floyd fought him when he was undefeated and probably higher motivation, Pac however is smaller and is fighting him at his best weight, except i don't think he's as good as he would have been a few years ago.
It really depends, I gave it to Mayweather by a hair because I really don't think Ricky can deal with an upper echelon fighter, even if it is at his best weight.
I think Pacquiao, he's fighting Hatton at 140, which is Hatton's best weight class. Hatton seems to have gotten better with Mayweather Sr. technically. So Pacquiao for me.
Pretty much what Ive been saying for 10 pages
