See they must have a much bigger budget now compared to back then why can't we have a roster like that? yo ryn0 you pay your bet with fasthard yet? hes been makin quite the fuss over it

roy and tyson are in the game so im set... id like to see floyd in it though... and joe calzaghe, so i can be tyson and beat him to a pulp for 6 hours

Word on the street is that we can blame it on Alexis Arguello. After the first or second fight night, he sued EA for not paying him for using his name in the game. After that they had to pay everyone who was in the game. It got too expensive to do every year which is why two things happened. 1. They kept having less boxers 2. Once Fight Night became the new title for the game, they stopped releasing the game every year. It's really a shame. It would be great if they had like the top five to ten in every weight division plus the legends. It would be amazing, I'd probably never leave the house. oh thanks for that man i didn't know that. theres a football game called pro evolution soccer (PES) and they had a similar problem in that they couldn't make the original players, use original names, use original stadium names or kits of the teams. the reason they couln't use the original names is due to fears over a copyright infringement PES overcame this by ,aking the players as they normally would i.ee their build, height, stats, facial features etc were as they should be. but they changed the names of all the players - patick kluivert became katrick pluivert roy keane became law kit ruud van nistelrooy became van nortelroi etc etc now i can't see why someone like EA sports cant do the same thing, initally i was sceptical about it but PES is now the leading light in football games and are purchasing rights for teams and leagues here and there

Alexis arguello has always come across a bit of an idiot to me, in ken nortons book, he says while giving his speech at the ibhof arguello was pretending to be asleep, which i thought was a bit disepectful.

ooohh sh!t!! how come as the game progressed they cut down the amount of fighters! that sh!t doesn't make any sense i really hope that calzaghe, dawson, benn, eubank and pavlik are in this game. i know that they care contracted but it would be well worth it if they tried to get them into the game. if not EA should make them as unlockable characters. if that doesn't work then maybe invent an option that allows you to create a fighter and with the stats being just right so that you can fight with them straight away in the 'play now mode' rather than go through career mode with them.
