Rate Chad Dawson's power

Chad posses something,because Hopkins and JC .backed off,not sayin they were scared,but something kept them at bay!!

i'd say about a 6. 1-10 is that over or under to you?? i say 6-7... its above average but not amazing

7, Dawson could carry his power from 168-200 lbs. I think Dawson could knock Cunningham down. He hasnt looked like a KO hitter due to him fighting guys with great chins in his last couple of fights: Tarver, Johnson, Adamek. I havent seen (m)any guys being able to fair better than Dawson did.

I believe Dawson is only the second man with a knockdown against Tarver. Granted it really wasn't much of a knockdown, but it is still telling. I'd rate Dawson's power at about a 7. Remember he knocked down Adamek with a body shot too, not an easy task.

I'd give him a 7.

Probably a 6. He's not a huge hitter, he focuses more on speed and accuracy rather than power.

About right. I was gonna say 7, but 6 is fine. He's not a KO guy but he's definitely got enough pop to keep guys honest, and even to hurt some guys. Plus he's so fast that he can KO a guy with a punch that he just doesn't see coming, they're the most dangerous.
