What is your view of VICTOR ORTIZ

He's a potential future star.

I think this kid has great potential but I have seen some flaws what do u guys think? good prospect... needs to be moved along slow or else he might get burnt out like vargas

Ortiz has is fast, has power and calm in the ring. I'm impressed with him so far.

my pick on who should be Ortiz next opponents 1.ricardo torres , 2. Paul Malignaggi, 3. jaun lazcano , 4. Junior Witter

This guy will be the face of boxing the next 10 years i have no doubt!!! he has the skills, the personality, the charisman, and no hom but the looks haha! Ortiz vs Bradley needs to happen sometime this year!

Well, I honestly don't see what everyone else sees. He's more Vargas than he is Oscar, IMO. He looks like Vargas, but from my point of view the kid has infinitely more potential, it'll be interesting to see where he goes. Future of Boxing? Don't forget JuanMa and Bad Chad.

He should fight Hatton, i think it would be hilarious to see Hatton get ktfo by a relatively unknown fighter. Ortiz can beat anyone at 140 right now in my opinion. After that he should move up to WW because there would be some big fights to be made there.

I think torres is good option holt and magnagalli at this point I dont think he isnt ready for those guys yet

he is very good and reminds me a lot of vargas's aggression and style but he could box........i think a fight with him and juan diaz would be a fight for the ages because of their styles although he is a jr. ww and he isn't in diaz's level quiet yet i could definetly see them fighting in a fight of the year candidate towards the future or maybe with khan who i think would get killed by ortiz's power and pressure

I like that he is a patient fighter but I wouldn't mind seeing if he could step up the pace and break down a fighter in quicker fashion. I'm a fan of his.

cant say Ortiz is more like Vargas remember Vargas was a kid fighting w men had bad managers that brought him up too quick now if Victor follows the steps of PBF than he will be all right

he along with gamboa & berto are the future of boxing... the cuban sparmate of ricky hatton looks very promising too... i will keep eye on him... yea I agree based on his last outing he looks like he has the ingredients of a great fighter even become a Legend in his on right and Golden boy's next De La Hoya but I cant get pass the fact that he is prone to getting hit with the left hook alot if ever he loses I believe that would be key also he reminds me if a combination of Vargas+ Trinidad
