i think if hatton loses by decision he should get a rematch...if he gets destroyed I think he should walk away imo....no shame in saying your only to loses were against the 2 best fighters of your generation......i think if pac loses he should fight valero....i think both hatton and pac have hinted to retirement...the loser of this fight could be done or have 1 fight left in them....the winner has 2 maybe even 3 fights left in them
pac would instantly walk into pac jmm part 3 with ease, unless of course jmm wnats the winner of the fight then than would suck for pac. if hatton loses hell probobly call it a career , maybe one more fight to try and go out on a nice win.
I think Marquez is a very logical choice for either guy should he lose. It all depends in what fashion they lose too. In fact, Marquez is a very solid choice for the winner too, but I think whoever wins will have bigger names available to them than JMM.
Winner likely gets JMM. If Hatton loses decisively, I think he's done. If it's competitive there may be a rematch, or maybe Campbell or Bradley. Pac loses, Valero or Diaz may make the jump to 140 for him.
Depends how the fight plays out. No one seems to be entertaining the idea of a rematch if its a close back n forth war.........
If Ricky gets dominated and koed, he could retire. But he said he didnt wanna go out on a loss so he might have a farewell fight at home.
If Pac gets dominated, I reckon he'd be forced into that 3rd fight with JMM.
Pacquiao would walk straight into another super-fight, probably with JMM. Hatton doesn't have as much currency and will be looking to clean up the rest of the 140lbs division; probably Bradley first (if Bradley can't get Pacquaio, which he will try to do).
IMHO, Hatton should retire if he loses. Not because he would be 'shot' (there's no shame in losing to Pacquiao), but because his limits have been firmly established, as a great fighter but just one notch short of the level attained by Mayweather and Pacquiao. Beyond that, there's nothing else to prove.
....couldn't have said it better myself mate!........OR he could bang Amir Khan out in front of 100,000 peopke at Wembley? lol
