why is hatton one demensional, swarmer/wrestling type?

When he lets his hands go inside Hatton is lethal and fun to watch. But a lotta times he swarms so ****in close he don't even give himself punchin room, which just leads to ugly clinches and wrestlin. He used to have better stamina a few yrs ago, and he did a lot more work wit body shots and uppercuts in close as opposed to just grapplin all the ****in time. As much as he lunges and clinches now it's gotta be hard to maintain energy for the full 12.
