So I get home from work and I go through my usual routine of turning on the TV to watch PTI but instead of PTI I get golf (1st round of the Masters). On one of the commercial breaks I see an AT&T commercial featuring none other than the man himself. He gets introduced as Floyd Mayweather the current undefeated boxer with the quickest hands in boxing (it was a commercial about AT&T's speed or something like that?)
Well the point of the thread is that they mentioned Floyd as a current fighter, not retired. Also Floyd was ripped like he has been doing some serious training and not just "staying in shape". He was also sporting a shiny bald head LOL. I think a fight for Floyd is coming in the near future OR he just wanted to tone up for the commercial. I'm sure the commercial will be getting heavy play from now on so check it out so you can see what I mean.
Nice to see see a Boxer getting some blue chip sponsorship money, who was the last one in the US? I know De la hoya had a few with Mcdonald's and Puma.
Here's a few
It was a pretty good commercial and I think Floyd wanted the public to see that he is still in shape and is ready to fight. If he doesn't come back to boxing, I will be surprised.
That's what I was thinking... if he didn't have to talk, he could actually make a really good actor it looked like. I don't think he has the talent as an actor to have a speaking part though.
Maybe, maybe not.
He does have a good sense of comic improv though. I took improv for 3 years in High School, and he definitely looks like he has a knack for it in this commercial.
Yeah, I laughed my ass off.
Floyd showed a little bit of talent for improv there if you watched carefully.

I just saw it... it's actually a really funny commercial.
