Attempt to one-up Pacquiao and have a huge payday at the same time in fighting Hatton Or is his desire to prove himself the superior boxer to Pacquiao so strong that he'll skip the Hatton payday and try to climb his Everest for once and for all, as soon as possible? Hmmm... JMM turned down a $900,000 offer to rematch Pacquaio after their draw and decided to fight Chris John instead for $30,000. So I think JMM's response would really be unpredictable.

and oh yeah even if MP loses, the likelihood of a fight with PBF is still plausible... if u remember what happened about the zab judah incident, zab lost to baldomir, but floyd still fought him... still plausible, but hatton fresh from a victory over MP (IF), with his clout as a big ticket seller might want to say something about it...

Pac brings money to the table that's about it... Wether he loses or not he always be a target for any fighter outhere... i dont know of any fighter who does not want MP in their resume...

yeah i would think so... MP's star status would really suffer & his leverage in financial negotiations would almost instantly vanish... I see that too... but I guess his name would still be attractive to most fighters who desires to be on the spotlight of boxing.

actually yeah they did damage Jones's legacy quite a bit. He got KTFO twice in a year! less than Pacquiao losing would, however, due to the multitude of excuses available to Jones and his fans, while Pacman is pretty much considered to be in his prime and at his peak maybe i overstated it, but you can't deny the effect losing twice in a row to Hatton and JMM at this stage in his career would have on his short and long term standing in the sport?? not realy he already has a hof career and beat some of the best. his accomplishments flyweight to welterweight will never be taken away from him. plus hatton is a bigger man and he already beat marquez.

naw man, nothing will ever erase da ko wins over barrera and morales and da sd over JMM. people sound stupid when they talk like dat! its like Chavez, he aint remembered for da TKO losses to DLH, Tzyu, and da losses to Randall and da others, he's remembered from all his exciting wins. Just like DLH is remembered for all his fights against top-notch guys. JMM, Pac vs JMM3. If Pac loses, there will be another mega fight, its the only way of preventing Pac vs. Cotto. you mean Cotto may still want to fight Pacquiao regarless of the Pac-Hatton fight result?
