Papa Trinidad is a Horrible defensive trainer. The only fighter he could help was Tito ( because he was special)
yea trinidad sr is not a good choice at all....
I think Freddie Roach would be a good fight for him, he likes his fighters to be aggressive while keeping their minds on defense as well, he also knows how to get them to box but he could be stretched too thin and Cotto would probably have a problem with him agreeing to train Margarito.

Using your face to block punches is not defense.... :nonono:

Either; Freddie Roach (great trainer), Emanuel Stewart (great trainer), Roger Mayweather (good trainer), Floyd Mayweather, Sr. (great at defensive training which could benefit Cotto).
All in all I would say Roach, but he is pretty occupied at the moment with the Pacquiao fight coming up and all.
Stewart is the man for the job, hands down

Floyd Daddy, Roachster, Baldy McGirt, or Manny Steward.
yea it would be awsome to see any of them with cotto, and i would add nacio to the list also...
I wouldn't go with Freddie, Floyd Senior, or Nacho, those are always the popular names and I don't think Cotto needs them, maybe Roach, not Nacho, he isn't defensive minded enough. Cotto has good defense, but if he had to work on something it would be that, I don't like Floyd for him, it just isn't a good style for him.
