As I read the forum, everyone seems to give Haye and all of Wlad's opponents the same advice.
Get inside quick and throw bombs at his chin.
Has anyone stopped for a second and gave this a thought? I mean it doesnt require much thinking to realize that this strategy applies to anyone.
If you have the ability to move inside fast lol and throw bombs on the button then wouldnt that put any fighter out? Now Im not trying to boost Wlad's chin here, but everyone goes down, and if you throw bombs on the chin the man is mostl likely going to hit the deck.
So whats with this emphasis on speed? Speed is good, but how are you going to use it if a man effectivly is holding you, or rather pushing you constatly away with a jab.
Its like poking someone whose coming at you with a stick, now how do they get around that? Grab the stick and move it to the side, correct?
So, back to Haye, how about some better advice? Other than "come in fast and throw bombs or else your ****ed after 4rd"
Wlad has shown plenty of times after the Sanders fight that bumrushing him just isnt going to work, hes going to jab and clinch.
I would think that Haye, having his speed and all, should try to lure Wlad into hitting him and then using his speed and movement to avoid a punch and counter, or do something else...damn Im sure there are plenty of strategies out there.
Or will everyone for the rest of their lives believe that Wlad can be beat by a guy charging at him like a bull...Cause every post sanders fight thats what people said Wlads opponents should do against him...and guess what...it hasnt worked.

First off, people who give that kind of stupid advice don't know what the **** they are talking about. They are the same idiots who claim that Wladimir Klitschko has a glass jaw despite the fact that he has never been counted out. If you want to know how beat beat Klitschko watch Corrie Sanders use lateral movement. That is what Sultan Ibragimov should have done and it is most likely what Dave Haye will do.
not quite. Its more ideal to rush into Wladimir than it would be against other fighters, because
1. He has pretty much no inside fighting ability at all
2. Hes going to kick your ass on the outside
3. His chin is a little more fragile than most
4. His stamina is a little bit questionable, so if you can force the fight enough you might get him tired out(good for you if you dont get tired yourself)
The closest someone got to effectively doing this recently was Tony Thompson, but Tony just cant punch for shit and didnt really force the fight well enough either. who are the other fighters who have tried the above strategy? Brewster rematch practicaly tried to box Wlad, Byrd trying to fight like that was laughable considering his lack of physical strength and punchign power, and Rahman...I dont even know what he was trying to do, but you can hardly say he forced the fight.
Sam Peter tried this strategy, and even with his lack of speed he did drop Wladimir a few times, back of the head shots or not. more success than most people have.
but Ill also add that Sanders did not bumrush Wladimir, to my eye. he actually stepped back and timed Wlad, and popped him with a left hand when Wladimir tried to be offensive. from then on it was a bumrush, but the fight changing punch was more of a counter.
No. Wlad is tall as ****, has a strong jab and a nasty str8 right. He's also pretty slow, and his jaw is kinda soft. He's good at tyin guys up who get close to him, but he don't move his head in close. Cuz of his style, it's ideal to rush in and throw quick punches full force to his chin. You wouldn't wanna try that wit every fighter.
