I mean warrens well known for protecting cash cows anyway, but surely if you were in his position you would say the F*CK away from valero, he hits harder than prescott.
Valero, a former junior lightweight beltholder, faces Antonio Pitalua for a vacant belt April 4 on Golden Boy's all-lightweight pay-per-view card in a fight Arum is not involved in. However, if Valero wins, Arum said, he could be headed for England to defend against Khan in the fall.
"Frank and I have talked about those fights, and we can do either or both," said Arum, who spent time with Warren on a recent trip to England. "Obviously, Valero has to win the title for that one to work out. Frank is a close friend of mine, and if we can do good business together, why not?"
Khan, obviously, is susceptible to punchers and Valero (24-0, 24 KOs) is one of the best in the business, but Arum said that Freddie Roach, who trains Khan, is OK with the fight because "he doesn't think too much of Valero."'
valero is the worst opponent for khan no way is warren making this fight.
warren is going to go for the fight with mezzache, hes the guy who beat thaxton for the euro title. mezzache fits the bill for khan hes tough, light punching (not many KO's), has good skills and has the euro belt.
going for this fight makes sense for khan and more importantly for warren. khan is warrens cash cow until the three olympians develop it will stay that way. i can see warren throwing khan in against some good fighters after that once but until then he will go for the euro title and justify it by saying he has finished off the domestic scene, now hes moving onto europe and then world honours.
I'm sure he does, but is there any real chance of him getting them over the next year or 18 months? That said, I agree with the consensus; I can't think of a worse opponent for Khan.
like kahn could show the world he has guts and take a fight with valero...but i think its suicide kahn needs to get expierence and work his way up the lightweight circuit...i see valero at this rate murdering that division...and i see manny pacquiao's las match before he retires against valero
yea i dont believe it......i also think valero will stay away from kahn....he wants big names at the moment like a marquez or pacquaio

Fwank Warren is a joke and he wouldnt dare put Valero in there with his main cashcow, Look for him to use the Hatton blueprint on Khan...Am surprise he hasnt spring out the WBU belt..with 15 odd defenses like he did Hatton.
