I hate to say it but Povetkin is clearly not ready for Wladimir Klitschko. Having to battle 10 rounds with an overweight underachiever like Estrada is a bad omen. Povetkin continues to repeat his mistakes: he fights in straight lines, he loops his punches and he is not hard to hit. This has to be an easy style match for Klitschko, and we all know how Klitschko can make short work of easy opponents. I am no fan of the Klitschkos, and I have been hoping Povetkin would be the man to get rid of them. It has finally become obvious I had better pin my hopes on another candidate.

That is what Klitschko is going to do to Povetkin.
martin rogan beats povetkin no joke.
But it is funny as hell that somebody would believe it. Povetkin has accomplished a lot. People who call him a mediocrity haven't done their homework.
Personally I think Povetkin has a much better chance against him than David Haye. Wlad's trained like it's illeagal to fight on the inside and Povetkin is schooled enough to work his way around that jab and work the ribs. Plus Povetkin has shown he won't just let guy's clinch when there not in range. You've gotta have Wlad out of rhythm and break his will.
Haye on the other hand is manly only hype, just slightly a better Cruiser than Jean Mormeck. Enzo has alway been an average fighter and Monte Barret is a hand picked C level heavyweight. Sure Haye can crack and has speed but he's constantly jumps in no mans land and Wlad will have an easy time finding him with that straight right.
Who has Arreola beat?
Povetkin only has 17 pro fights and his resume is already 100 times better than Arreola's. He has beaten Eddie Chambers, Chris Byrd, Larry Donald, Jason Estrada, etc.
Arreola is just another American hypejob....Povetkin is too skilled for him and would knock him out.
The Klitschko nuthuggers are likely to say anything. Povetkin is one of the best in the division simply because he comes to fight. You can expect him to be throwing punches with bad intentions in every round. Nearly all of these fat-ass heavies like Estrada, Chambers and Arreola aren't ready for that level of intensity. As it goes the Klitschkos are not only well conditioned but they are also a very bad stytle match for him. If Povetkin performs against Wladimir Klitschko as he did against Estrada, he will get a blind date with the canvass.
