Paulie Malignaggi Fighting on Taylor-Froch Undercard?

Who is training Paulie for this fight? Is he still with Buddy McGirt or has he changed trainers.

Opponent has been named it is Christopher Fernandez who is 16-6 and was TKO'd in his last fight by Devon Alexander. It will not be televised and Forrest will not be on this card anymore but on May1st Showbox.

Its only a tuneup for Malignaggi, says the fight is only 8Rds so most likely won't be anybody too crazy or even televised.

Well, long story, but to sum it up. A TV station called ITV, who have showed his last few fights apparently have a verbal agreement to show his next fight. But they said they will not show it at 3am, as they only buy fights atleast 1 hour from primetime, so they will show it on Sunday as a delay. So unless another TV company subsidies ITV, as they legally have the fight, they cant show it, and Froch isn't a big enough name yet for companies to spend that much on him. I hate this part of boxing, its terrible. Hopefully something will sort out before April 25th. suppose its life though. ITV conly show show fights to generate advetising income and if its going to cost more to show it then it will generate from advetising...........

It can be a tough fight for both but I have a gut feeling that Hatton will make it look real easy. Paulie is very quick and you saw how Hatton handled him pretty easy. Fans argue that Pacquiaos speed will be too much for Hatton, exactly what they said for Malignaggi and you saw how that turned out, although Pac is overall better than Paulie. ye i dont think we should compare them 2 much as pacquios footwork is a lot better but hatton can cut the ring off against anyone its why he wins fights

Outside of Taylor-Froch, Green-De Leon, and Forrest-LeHoullier. The card is shaping out to look pretty deep. Dominick Guinn vs. Johnnie White @ HW. And Paulie Malignaggi, Johnathan Nelson, Tyson Fury, and Danny O'Connor against TBA's. I'm crossing my fingers that Carlos Quintana can hop on this card. if all them names there appear on that card i'll be very impressed, although we're going to have to watch it over here on a internet stream because there not showing it on tv here, froch hasn't got a big enough name here yet really

Yeah, I was rooting for Paulie. It was depressing. i can imagine,not sure why anyone would root 4 paulie though,u must really hate hatton

Same here he could have won that fight if he continued his success in 1st round throughout the fight and got into a groove, but he didn't pull the trigger. If he's on this card it can't be a top level opponent since he's coming off a loss and there can't be that much more money to add to event for big name. Wonder if they would make this a quadroople header on Showtime of have this replace the Forrest fight, makes no difference to me cause the kid will be in the building.

Paulie Malignaggi disappointed me in his performance against hatton, I had Paulie winning the first round against Hatton and thats about it... The fight got very one-sided after that in favor of Hatton. Paulie looked to fight very stupid at at times stood still right infront of hatton, and what kind of idiot fights Hatton standing right infront of him. You have to show Hatton angles. Hatton tee'd off on Paulie after the first round.

I don't think he will be on the undercard of that. Believe hsi next fight will be one in May. Won't be Judah.
