Hey wassup guys.. I wanted the name of some good pressure fighters above 147... We all know mike Tyson provided good pressure.. name some more for me..
all names will be appreciated.. But if someone names one I really like I'll throw you 10,000. and some karma. Thanks Again.
Today, the best pressure fighter is James Kirkland. He has a "holy shit" effect on opponents with the sort of pressure he applies. I was wearing down just watching him with Julio.
Lamon Brewster, not the quickest guy in the world but shit he makes you work.
Hate to mention his name after the fun threads from yesterday, But Roberto Duran has to be considered one of the best if not the best pressure fighters of all time. Not only could he cut the ring off and had a great body attack, but as he was coming forward, especially in his prime, he was really hard to hit flush. Its extremely hard to be a pressure fighter with that kind of aggression but still have that great defense.
Edit: noticed he said above 147....So i'll change my answer to a young Mike Tyson inside the first 6 rounds.
Adamek..... He knows how to pressure without throwing a ton of punches which I believe is a key part of true pressure fighting. He knows how to cut off the ring, and not just follow his opponents throwing lots of flack just waiting for them to make a mistake.
I have a feeling you are probably going to get alot of names of fighters that are more offensive minded volume punchers, than true pressure fighters in response to your call for names.
