Alright lets find out how Boxing Scene has this fight playing out. This is a really intriguing clash of styles. Please discuss why you think the fight will play out the way you voted. Poll to follow.
Silencers, if there is no Ring rust or the ring rust is gone by round 3 would you then say Winky wins by decision? Or would you still have Williams to win?
If there's no ring rust and his skills are still intact then Winky wins.
Williams by decision. But I'm saying he'll win mainly because I think Winky will be affected quite a bit by the layoff but if Winky fights as good as he used to, Williams would be in for a long night.

Verno Phillips would have whipped Angulo's slow ass.
Sure you're going for Winky...he's old and almost done.
You want to see Williams OUT OF THE WAY because HE HAS YOU SHOOK.
You see him as a threat to Angulo..one of the few mexican fighters around to cheer for.
Angulo is extremely green and a bit slow. I definitely see almost everyone at the top of the division giving him trouble. A good test for him would be Cintron, but I still think he should take a fight against another Cosme Rivera type first.
Maybe Winky will pull one out of the hat like Quintana Did!!!!!
He doesn't have to pull one out of the hat. Winky just needs to fight like the crafty fighter Winky Wright is and it will give Paul Williams serious problems. It's Paul who will require a really good Plan B. With that said it wouldn't be thaat surprising if Punisher pulls it off. According to this poll, NSB has it next to even.
I guess I'm thinking that Winky must know that if he loses here he's done, but that a win get's him one more good fight. And also I think that with the hype that Williams is getting, Winky might come in with a chip on his shoulder, feeling he hasn't gotten his just due.
WInky hasnt fought in almost 2 years and hes pushin 39 cmon a fresh young Pwill will destroy him in a comeback fight
He is 37
(IDK why but they reject short messages, its annoying as hell. )
Winky wide UD
I think Winky will surprise a lot of people. He seems like he has been in good shape recently so I dont think stamina will be a problem. Paul hasnt fought anyone but tomato cans at 160 so he will be in for a surprise. Williams might be taller but Winky is the bigger and stronger guy.
I have a lot of respect for Williams taking this fight though and taking such a huge risk.
I have a feeling paul williams is giving his all in this fight........
paul "first and only man to stop winky"williams takes this
.............................
however the more i think about it i feel winky might pull it off.........AHHHHHHH SNAP OUT OF IT GOLDEN BOIIII!!!!!!

Winky wright via UD then goes on to call out AA & Pavlik. Punisher probably won't look much better than he does in your avatar there after Winky's through.
I think with the long layoff Winky will be rusted so therefore I gave it to Paul by decision. I wll not be suprised at all if was to pull out a decision either.

going by this poll, it doesn't seem like much of an upset now.
From all the talk on other threads it sort of seemed like Williams was favorite, but according to this thread it seems Winky has a relatively clear edge in the voting.
Williams made a very good point about Wright's inactivity
"My thing is, I think he's been training while he was off those two years," Williams said. "He's been coming in, working out, training, sparring and all that. So in a way, it seems like he's been in training camp for two years" - Paul Williams
I still think Winky's going to Win somehow

So he's really burnt out then? Well that's even worse. I've heard of overtraining, but 2 years? Damn.
