I'll always remember these were the fighter's whose introductions as Former division champions gave me chills. It was a whole body of work summed up in 15 seconds by Michael Buffer. You can still hear them in your head. Whose sent the most chills down your spine?
1.Oscar de la Hoya Gold Medal,Former Jr. LW, LW, Jr. WW, WW, Jr. MW, MW
2.Tommy Hearns Former WW, Jr. MW, MW, SMW, LHW, CRUISER
3.Roy Jones Jr Former MW, SMW, Undisp. LHW, HW
4.Mike Tyson Undefeated Undisputed HW champion of the world
Unless you were Buster Douglas.
In my opinion a young George Foreman and Sonny Liston were atleast as "scary" as Tyson.
Absolutely. You can't have a list of fearsome fighters without having Liston and Foreman on that list.
Too many people forget just how scary prime George Foreman actually was.
And Liston? I would get "sick" if I ever had to fight him.

well of course but liston and foreman weren't options.
Tyson is hands down the most intimidating.
He comes to the ring with that towel for a shirt, no neck, then you stand in front of his Napoleon of a man. "The undisputed, undefeated.. Heavyweight champion of the world!!"
Then at that moment... you know your gonna lose.

I don't care about ring intros. I care about actual intimidation.
And as far as actual intimidators go, I'd vote for Tyson, Hopkins, and Robinson.
Tyson, everyone knows why. He's fucking Tyson!
Hopkins back in the day was very good at getting into a man's head. He wasn't this older version who took an axe to a Jermain Taylor doll head, and shoved Winky's face and laughed.
He was the "I'm flying to your Country, disrespecting your entire Nation and your flag, throwing beans in your face, and leaving without a scratch" version. There's something very intimidating about a man who feels his back is against the wall and he has nothing to lose.
Robinson was a mindfuck. He'd tell you he was going to fight you this way, or that way. But you never knew. He could embarass you for a UD just as easily as he could knock your damn block off. Also the whole drinking of Cattle blood before signing a contract was pretty damn sweet.
he has been a champion for more than a decade, the former undisputed super middleweight champion of the world, the reigning, defending undefeated light heavyweight champion of the world...!
nothing about oscar is intimidating..tyson and hopkins can just show up and intimidate
hopkins with the gimp mask was in no way intimidating.. it was more like hilarious!
he shoudln't of been boxing, but doing S&M porn.
Aside from those mentioned, Foreman in his 2nd career. The crowd always popped when Buffer talked about George's KO percentage bein the highest in HW history.
vital;i klitschos is now right ?

Hopkins IS intimadating aint he, but i dont know why, he is negative and happy with a points win
Reading it on this page and thinking logically Roy Jones probably but the truth is Nothing is cooler or more intimadating than
THE UNDEFEATED, UNDISPUTED, HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD! Then u look across and theres this wrecking Machine with a neck like a tree trunk and Fury in his eyes, a Monster, MIKE TYSON
