u think hattons strategy is to outjab, outbox pac? Pac's fought the best boxers/counterpunchers(marquez,MAB,morales) and thats just his routine fights i agree but floyd knows this, and hes going to try and use manny's agression against him...and when he comes flying in...your walking into hatton's wonderland...an inside ugly fight....but pac needs to just box and stay in the middle of the ring...i see pac in trouble if its a fight on the inside or if hes against the ropes

Hatton is not gonna try and clinch that much - he's gonna be using his jab alot more, as that's what Mayweather Snr is training him to do more of. i know may 2nd will be this decades upset for the ages....but i'm aware hes a 2-1 underdog in vegas...but has anybody seen the lines...they have tightened up the past month or so....it was a larger spread when the line opened back in december what i didnt like was he basically threw one punch at a time or one two's. He wants to beat Pac he better throw in combinations like MArquez can cause or two at a time aint gonna do it. Pac will be in and out and fast. changing angles and moving his head, bouncing like a madman. He will need to make this an ugly fight, he needs to live up to his name and do a lot of hugging. Even that style didnt work against him. Did you see Manny against David Diaz? Diaz is not on Hatton's level I admit but he has a similiar inside fighting style. punch punch grab,punch, grab repeat, rinse. Am I wrong? I dont think so. Hatton has to make zero mistakes and be at his best to have a shot here even than its only a shot.

yea but if go to the cardioboxer.net website its a pretty cool machine, i'm sure it does help though in training Yea, its a nice bit of kit, good for a bit of practice but it seems there are a few people on here that think Ricky is training with that for Pacquiao, so just wanted to make it clear he will be taking his training a bit more seriously lol..

It looks descent to practice on, if he is just on his own without Mayweather Sr. around to do some mitts with him he can have a little practice on there. I am not saying it is great but it isn't awful.

i agree with everything your saying m8t. Pac mans a great great fighter but everyman has his limitations on how far they can go. I have a suspicion that hatton may be the man to limit pac mans peak. I wouldnt be surprissed if pac man boxed rings round hatton, but i think as soon as hatton closes in and gets inside, pac man will crumble as hatton is a monster at 140lb. never count out a STILL hungry man with a poor country on his shoulders, til this day he's still carries that mentality.. i believe it takes tremendous skill to beat Pac, not saying ricky don't have skills... its just not that tremendous in my opinion n won't be enough..

Anybody else think this thing is stupid. I guess it's cool for when you don't have someone to hold pads for you but I think you need to be in there with another man who can pop you back. It's probably expensive as hell too

yea i just see hatton's stamina wearing pac down over 12 rounds, expect pac to do well early on, but I think hatton breaks him in the later rounds....pac's luck will run out challenging the bigger man that night

But I think pacquiao will be moving so much he won't give Hatton the chance to clinch. Hatton has stamina issues, and that is what that video doesn't show. Hattons stamina was pretty top notch in his last fight, the only time ive really seen him tire was against collazo at 147... does anyone really think that stamina is going to be an issue in the fight? Because i think hatton will be coming in ready to go 100 mph for 12 rounds!

Hatton beating Pac isnt an upset at all, I am picking him to win. The only thing that would make it an upset is the tons of Pac fans betting on it who are probably casual boxing fans and not good judges of match ups. But they are both well matched and both in good physical condition and not old. Mosley and Hopkins last victories are bigger upsets than what Hatton-Pac could be.
