Yeah thats what I thought as well. I mean he still has handspeed but shit he hit Omar at will and landed flush shots and a few years back those would have KOed anyone if he was landing like that.
Also he couldnt put away a retired Trinidad which a younger Roy would have done no doubt.

He looked good but keep in mind Omar is garbage at this point. Hes always had his speed but folds when pressured and Omar didnt pressure at all he just stood there like a human punching bag.
Roy's power seems to have come from his explosive movement. He'd literally leap at you to land his punches, but he hasn't been able to do that for years. After Roy lost his explosiveness, he started going to the ropes and letting people batter him.
Agreed. When is laying on the ropes in the first round without being hurt a good thing. Roy use to take fools apart in the middle of the ring. Now he lays on the ropes and shows more dance moves then throws punches.
