You're right, there isn't a shred of proof. That cannot change the cloud of suspicion that will always hand over that fight though. Spot on Jab. We may never know for certain because there likely will not be a full investigation of events prior the SSM fight. Only hope there is is that Margarito or Capetillo writes a book in about 10 years time. Opinionwise I'd say that I'd put real money on Margarito fighting with loaded gloves in his fights after Paul Williams. It's such a bad case for boxing. I hope this happens: 1: Marg and Capetillo gets locked up. 2: The responible supervisors from the CSAC gets fired 3: Rules changed so the commision supplies the wrappings. (I thought that was the case, but apparently it isn't.)

the blood stain on the wrap was the same for the cotto and mosley fight, but it was not cotto's blood. it was margs blood. its obvious that cotto's blood was not the stain found on margs wraps because the blood can't go thru the glove but it doesn't mean it has to be cotto's blood to prove marg used the wraps for the cotto fight. its obvious marg had injured his hand and thats how the blood got on the wraps. we seen the pics of the stain after the cotto fight and after he tried to cheated against mosley, so thats proof he used the same wraps for cotto and then attempted to use them for mosley. capetillo and margs team already admitted they used the same wraps over and over and capetillo said he always wrapped margs hand the same. thats proof enough he did cheat on cotto, end of story. lets move on and forget this because the csac is obviously not gonna do nothing about this and sweep it under the rug.

It doesn't make any sense that a boxer who was able to become the champion of the strongest division without cheating to take such a risk to ruin a brilliant career. Why would it matter whose blood it is?? because that would link the pads to the Cotto fight The fact that it's there means that he wore the same wraps he was caught with during the Cotto fight. You're right, it probably wasn't Cotto's blood, I have no idea how it would get in there either.
