who thinks junior witter still has a future in boxing after his loss to bradley?
it was only a year or two ago many people beileved witter would knockout ricky hatton and was already the best 140 fighter in the world!
im not witter fan but i reckon if he got given anouther chance against bradley and fights against the other 140 names ( malignaggi, judah... ) he has a pretty decent chance.
Also anyone still think he beats hatton?
He should go after the winner of Bradley v Holt, and try and get a deal wrapped up soonish after that fight because if Ricky loses to Pacquaio he might go for it.
Yeah agreed. Witter was ment to fight Branco last night, heard Branco pulled out again (de ja vu....he pulled out vs Witter 4 years ago) he should just get another fighter like his last fight, destroy him as a warmup for the Holt/Bradley fight.

Bradley had to fight the way he did in order to win.
Witter is a counter puncher who does not like to lead, and that is why his fights become boring, when his opponents dont play ball. Witter refuses to lead, and he will wait and wait patiently for his opponent to take the lead.
Bradley had to be patient and selective with his attacks, because the more punches he threw at Witter the more countering opportunities Witter would of had, and the more success Witter would of had.
Bradley had to fight that way. His game plan was perfect.
I just dont think Witters head was in the fight. But either way, would love to see a rematch.
Ironic you say about how he should not say how he was psychologically affected that week i say ironic because Bradley said for the fight he said it is more mentally preparing for it then physically and i think Witter was affected by what he went through that week.
Bradley barely beat Witter even with a knockdown, i thnk Witter beats him in a rematch.

Witter has always depended on speed and reflexes. At his age it become a case of diminishing returns.
Yea he depends too much on his reflexes but he fought a good up and comer in Bradley who beat him to the punch in most of the rounds.
He doesnt have too many options at the moment unless he goes back to the fighting the european level opposition till he gets his ranking up again, He doesnt have the fanbase or promoter who can pay off his ranking like some UK fighters had in Frank warren..
I like Witter, he has good reasons for loosing to bradley, he had some pretty serious family problems the week before the fight and was not right on the night, yeh he lost fair and square but this was a factor.
Iv been to a few witter fights and his style is not always good box office.
On his day he gives any one at 140 a real good fight. IMO.
The only excuses Witter has is........ he aint as quick, technically good as Bradley. Bradley would whoop him any day of the week
Witter is slower than Bradley, and he punches wider........so when they get into exchanges Bradley will always get the best of him.

I think so, but his what? 34? he needs to start going after world class opponents, he is not a bad fighter and i feel can beat Bradley and Hatton on his day. He just dont get the exposure people need in boxing these days.
But he needs to start fighting quality opponents as oppsoed to the guy he destroyed in his last fight and Branco (whenever that is, i heard Branco pulled out?)
No.
There are much better fighters at 140 than Witter. Bradley, Hatton, and now Pac. Possibly Marquez. He doesn't beat any of them.
