Wouldnt Enzo feel he would be able to perform well prior to the fight? He just didnt train and take caer of himself to the fullest. Go back to the drawing boards, the cruiser weight division will be an easy one to climb back up in. No excuses.

I doubt any of the top 5 trainers would want to train him. Like Khan he has a very bad chin, but unlike Khan he doesn't have the skill and natural talent to make up for it. I would wonder what would happen if you took Enzo to someone like Roach or Mayweather (Roger and Floyd) to train and live in the states. Just to see the outcome and what would happen, would be interesting. That would be a BIG job for them to rebuild his career. If Enzo wants to have another go at boxing, he needs to totally rebuild, start from scratch. Imagine a Light-Heavyweight Enzo Maccarinelli training under Freddie Roach. Think he is just trying to respect any fighter who is willing to do an interview with him. There is the ass kissing, but he lies his ass off too, without getting into the age old calzaghe arguments, he started telling people how Jones and Hopkins didnt want it with calzaghe in their prime, whilst forgetting to mention those fights would more likely have happened if Joe was willing to go to the states and fights those guys earlier. Ola looked slick in there, the kind of fighter enzo would have problems with. Enzo was winning the fight, but got hurt several times in the fight, one round he had to hold the ropes to stop himself going down. No excuses, he got beaten by the better man on the night and got hit with a cracking shot. without a doubt ola looked real slippery and awkward hard to land on let alone hurt .... he may have underrated power as well. but macca looked fatigued and pretty well out on his feet so ola wouldnt have needed much but he landed that solidly ... it was great imo

PS. Started watchin that video, then got sick of the excuses, fact is, a fighter like Ola would probably give him problems if they fought again, dont think Enzo realized he was up against someone who gonna be slippery, make him miss so many punches. He got exposed on the inside as well, kept getting hit with the same right hook up close several times. said he was tired in the first round and had his blood tested to see what's wrong. An acute case of Can-Itis mixed with a piss poor game plan/execution. Considering where he was fighting and the fact that he was fading fast he should have boxed the last 6 rounds. He would have won by WIDE UD. Instead he continued to try blasting despite being winded.
