It has a tendency to dis-color from white to grey over time. It can aslo harden a bit, but not so much where an advantage can be had. It's just a bit-hardened wax. And not for nothing, but if your friend really is part of the Margarito camp I would hardly call him objective and might even go as far as to say he would exagerate or lie to defend his team.
