I don't think Americans are nearly as biased as some other nations. We criticize and evaluate our own fighters the same as fighters from other countries? Just look at Floyd. He's American, but I can say with reasonable certainty that more American boxing fans LIKE Ricky more. Now that doesn't mean Floyd isn't the better fighter to Americans. hatton needs to do more. he fought a shot castillo. an old tszyu. was destroyed by pbf. that's not atg. hatton needs to dominate 140 for a decade like hopkins or he needs to move up and win against the best who are available. right now, hatton has not done enough to be ATG even if he beats pac, but he would be on the path to it if he did

Both Tszyu & Castillo were not at their respective peaks when Hatton fought them so I'd hardly use them as a basis for an ATG claim. cosign IMO Hatton is not a atg he just a good fighter
