Since everyone is making threads about would Tyson ko a gorrila, or would he beat any MMA'r. Lets cut the crap Tyson was afraid of an old Foreman. Foreman laughed when people called Tyson the baddest man on the planet. Foreman by brutal ko via Smokin Joe Frazier. Your turn.
No fighter could come to Foreman and survive. Tyson would have to attempt to box from the outside to have a chance, a tall order for someone of his slight reach and stature.
Tyson...................................
Reasons............Let me guess, because its Tyson, the so called unbeatable freak
Cus once told Tyson, " No Swarmer could ever beat George Foreman"
Tyson kept that in mind when Big George made his comeback
A 40 year old Foreman would prbably beat a prime Tyson IMO, but a prime Foreman (1974) would knock him out without too much trouble IMO. Tyson would have probably won the first round, but Foremans right uppercut would have lifted tyson off the canvas like it did to Frazier, and Tyson would eventually be brutally KTFO. Short swarming fighters get eaten up like flap jacks and bacon by Foreman. Why do you think Tyson avoided Foreman when he made his comeback?
It's probably not genius to couple Tyson and Frazier together as completely similar, but they definitely had the same blueprints as fighters. And I can't shake the image of Foreman demolishing Smokin' Joe.. I feel like the same would happen to Iron Mike.
Foreman by KO.
I think it depends if Tyson can get inside without taking too many shots. George usually just pushed everyone back once they got inside and then wailed on them. He has the bigger reach, so I know Tyson was slick with his bob and weave, it just depends how much George can land on him while he was coming in. Id have to watch a few fights in good quality to really form my opinion, but I think the above would be the key, could Foreman catch Tyson coming in and could Tyson be effective on the inside or would foreman just push him off?
I tell you what though, Tyson would have to be in top form, no slacking coming in unprepared or he would get demolished.
I did watch some old Foreman not that long ago and it was impressive though it was against chuvalo who doesnt have any movement. What impressed me was Foreman went to the body and upstairs, he didnt just head hunt. He also wasnt slow like people make him out to be, probably average speed. He did get off balance though when his punches missed.
I think someone with a long reach and good counter punching like Lewis or Holmes or Ali is a better matchup. Tyson with his short reach and coming forward is just asking to get hit, I dont think Tyson could slip all of his shots coming forward.
This is like smashing 2 hummers together....you dont know what will happen
no.
it's a hummer vs. a tank.
george foreman is bigger , taller , stronger , punches harder , more durable and can take a punch better than tyson.
tyson gets ktfo.
