I actually like and support the idea of regional/area based titles. its a cool idea, and draws interest to boxing. In a fun boxing world, it would be nice to see something like... Fighter wins Florida State Boxing Title Fighter wins North American Boxing Title Fighter gets a title shot if he beats all the other best in North America for a while. it would be easier to create a following, because people are going to care about you more if you represent them. but with the multiple title belts and their terrible ranking system, its easy enough to get a title shot in the first place, so I guess fighters dont even bother.

Just anotha minor title that gives fighters a chance to make fights go 12 rds instead of 10.

Intercontinetal titles were first design to give shots for fighters ranked 11 & below and to discover new talents that would lead the way to a fast tracking to challenge for the world title... but as it is now, it became a sanctioning fee milking cow...
