JULIO MATHEWS CALLS OUT THE CRUISERWEIGHT DIVISION By Matt Goldstein "Anybody from the Contender Show is Getting KTFO!" At 6-0 with 5 knockouts the hard hitting 39 year old Julio Cesar Mathews isn't taking any prisoners. Mathews wants to fight now and will fight anybody. Barred from the Contender show because of a traveling restriction being a condition of his parole, Mathews wants to take out his frustrations on the entire cast of Contenders. "Anybody from the Contender Show is going to get KTFO! I'll fight anybody from the show or anybody in the lightheavyweight division." At age 39, Mathews needs to move quickly if he is going to take advantage of his gifted punching power. "I'm just turned 39. So anybody wants it come whup my ass. If you think you can whup my ass then have some balls and fight me. I'm a 39 year old trapped in a 28 year old body. Prison preserved me. The entire division is dodging me. I'm ready to put my record on the line with a 20-0 or 30-0 fighter. I dont need 20 fights before I fight for a title." Mathews began sputtering off a lot of names from the cruiserweight division such as Fransisco Palacios, Marko Huck, Matt Godfrey, BJ Flores, Ademek, Afolabi. "Afolabi is a joke. Maccaranelli should be ashamed for fighting this bum. We'll fight BJ Flores on the RJJ card if he wants. It's time for BJ to fight a real fighter. And that dude Michael Alexander from the Contender was asking all kinds of questions about me. He can get KTFO too if he wants it. I know I'm 39, but I got 5-6 good years left in me, maybe more." Rumors have been swirling of what the half Irish half Puerto Rican knockout artist has been doing against world class opposition in the gym.
