JMM should rematch Chris John

actually this is a classic unfinished business that needed to be attended but circumstances say otherwise ... this is similar to PAC vs JMM unfinished business, which should happen, but circumstances say otherwise ... only if this is a perfect world...

pac should rematch rustico torrecampo. im sure that would cement his legacy as he is on his way out of the sport...not to mention itll make mega $$$. Pac cant go after Rustico since that guy is already retired. JMM on the other hand was not shy about telling everyone he won against CJ. Furthermore, both are still active and within weight range of each other...So,here is his chance to prove CJs win was indeed a fluke...I said it before, Il say it again. JMM was the loser, controversial or not, the fact is, he lost. So, the burden of proof is on him to back his claims.

If the guy is really the fighter he says he is, he should grant Chris John a rematch. After all, when CJ won, JMM made all the noise about being robbed...hometown victory...blah blah blah... Now CJ is willing to travel, being actually in JMMs undercard, I see no reason why this fight cant be made. JMM must avenge his loss to CJ before he goes after PAC and asks for his own redemption..Dont you think? first off, if you've seen the fight and score it in an unbiased and fair manner, chris john lost that fight flat out, and i'm being honest, i like chris john, and i like marquez, but the scoring of their fight was clearly a hometown job. i hear what you're saying about the rematch and a shot at redemption, that i understand and find agreement there. their is the obstacle of weight being an issue, marquez isnt going down, so john is forced to come up, which i dont think that is in his best interests. but now for the sake of if they just were to fight, i think marquez wins, and i think it would be decisive again only this time the credit would be just. i am not talking trash about chris john, but there is a separation in class still in these fighters with marquez having the upper hand, chris john in their fight did nothing spectacular and holding his own but he wasn't beating marquez and wasn't doing anything that would be considered dominant in their fight, and marquez did lose some rounds but in a rematch i think marquez gets the proper credit for his efforts in the fight and gets the win........ but i think that a rematch is unlikely, john is actually going to have to jockey himself in to a pound for pound position or become a big name with a big cash money draw to get a fight with marquez agian.........

The quality of the video was true grade A shit. It was hard to see much at all but most ringside observers and the assosciated press had John winning.

JMM said he should have won against CJ. JMM claimed he was the better fighter. JMM told everyone it was a hometown robbery....So if he bitched about all these things, and he has a chance to prove it was indeed as he says it is,and the other party is willing, then why not do it?Again..JMM was the loser and the whiner...so the burden of proof is on him. The proof is in the video tape, JMM already beat him comfortably but was jobbed. The officials may not have said so but everyone else did. There is no point going after CJ, no money and there are bigger & better fights out there for him.

If Chris John moves up to Lightweight i have no problem with it, but Juan shouldn't have to go chasing him when he can get much bigger fights now. If he got clearly beaten then maybe but it was a dodgey fight.

I am a fan of Chris John and I am sure if he rematched jmm it would be competative. JMM needs to fight more notable names to stay in the lime light for a potential rematch with Pacquiao. While fighting CJ would be a good fight for hardcore boxing fans it may not give him the status to demand the rematch that he wants. High risk and very little reward.
