pre plaster margarito wanted floyd... pre no mas de la hoya wanted floyd rematch... hatton too... mosley wants floyd... now marquez wants a piece of floyd too... if you are arum or schaeffer or don king, would you pay floyd $ 20,000,000?
Before oscar opened his ******y mouth it was 20million, NOw its 25million that would teach dem whose on top of the food chain.
lol! man you really must apply for a job as floyd's manager or publicist...

I have already provided a link that works, you just refuse to believe it. But even if it didn't work when you clicked, you could have placed the url in your web browser and went from there.
Now, having said this...........there's a liquor store down the street from your house with a broken alarm system, a push over attendant, and no cameras.............GO ROB IT!You piece of shit non working welfare recipient, gangsta wannabe.
floyd jr is good for the sport of boxing... at first glance, all he does outside the ring may seem like a self serving and narcissistic undertaking... but really, the more he does these things, the more our favorite sport gets more attention from the mainstream fans... if ODLH gets a stratospheric amount everytime he fights, isnt it too much to ask for a fighter clearly better than him and with just as much star appeal to earn just as much?
... hatton has a big fanbase, so thats why he sold a lot.
I believe Floyd brought in as large a crowd as Hatton has fans, if not more.
He even performed in a popular dance contest to peak the interest of the mainstream audience while preparing for the fight.
lol at people arguing about what Floyd should be paid.
**** the money, he should be fighting for his legacy the greedy bastard.
Floyd legacy is secure, he is a first ballot hall of famer....he's getting into the hall...now it time for the money. You would do it for the money too so how is he a greedy bastard, he already put the hard work in to get in to the hall, not it time to get that money.
That does not make me a believer, Vince is a proven liar. He embellishes on his wrestlers weights, heights, lied about steroids in wrestling and lied about screwing over his greatest pure wrestler. Mayweather made his dough, but I'm no fool, it was not 20 million. That figure was to hype the bout, no more no less. That 20 million is a reported figure, not gospel.
Floyd Mayweather is a B level (and that's being nice) celebrity. He is not more recognizable than (even to this day) Hulk Hogan, or Steve Austin. Fact.
Steve Austin turned the WWE into a billion dollar promotion and never saw more than 6 million in a fiscal year. I'm supposed to believe Vince paid FMJ 20 mil for one event in a non-peak WWF period?
Sorry, not buying it for a second. It's common sense.
We will agree to disagree....Forbes (a legitimate magazine who will not be fooled by Vince shenagians) says otherwise. Floyd was a part of the largest PPV in history....that tell me that a lot of casual fans watch the fight, plus he was on dancing with the stars and wrestled at Wrestlemania....While he not as known as Austin & Hogan...he not a B-Level celebrity.
Floyd is the best fighter in his given sport at that time, he is a celebrity but we will agree to disagree.
This link should make you a believer and confirm the 20 mil:

I saw that Larry King interview...I wouldn't blame Vince for not discussing that kind of financial business on TV..he didn't confirm nor deny it. BUT Forbes is a financial magazine that get everyone financial details and Forbes is a legitimate source of financial information. A B-level celeb....Floyd was the best p4p athlete in his given sport at that time and he was a part of the biggest PPV of all time...how is that a B-level celeb?
Well because they work for Vince...if Vince wants true athletes like Mayweather or even an A-Rob, Lebron, Manning or a Woods to participate in a match...he would have to pay them what they are use too....Those athletes make over 20 million easy.....Those athletes are not Austin, Hogan, or Rock.

floyd isnt worth is, he doesn't bring in the numbers that would cover that kind of guarantee of 20 million. he needs whoever he's fighting to sell the fight, hatton and pacquiao are the only two with the kind of fan base needed to make that kind of money, and even then it isnt a guarantee, and between the two if i had to pick where the most money is to be made between hatton or pacquiao i would have to pick hatton mainly because his fans spend lots of money to watch him fight and will travel. manny has his peeps too but for some reason manny's fans dont spend like the brits and roll in the same kind of numbers.
regardless of that, floyd doesn't sell that enough to warrant that kind of cash, and as far as i'm concerned the retirement doesn't make his stock rise and it doesn't call for a demand of floyd mayweather.
i think that boxing has been better since he has retired, i think more match ups have been made and fighters have been more willing to fight one another since his retirement. now, there isnt people waiting in hopes to catch a fight with floyd, no one is waiting to see who wins or loses win floyd fights to make their match making decisions. floyd leaving really change people directions in their careers which has benefited us fight fans, and as of right now, i don't want that getting taken away again............ unless floyd comes back and fights people which leaves others no option but to make the fights anyways, just as if he was still retired. floyd cause a constipation in matching making in about 3 to 4 divisions, and constipation sucks!
of course floyd deserves $20 million... everyone is calling him out and he's been retired for what.... 2 years???
but the $20 million guarantee is ridiculous
he isn't worth 20 mil maybe 10-15 mil. He;s unentertaining and he's more skilled with his big whore mouth than he is w/ his delicate little bitch hands.

Floyd did not make 20 mil fighting Big Show. LOL at people believing that. Vince, Floyd, Big Show, and HHH were all on Larry King and he couldn't get a straight answer from McMahon on Floyd's pay day. I find it ridiculous to believe he would pay that much to a B celebrity in Floyd at the time.

Steve Austin, Hogan, or Rock never even saw that much dough at once working for Vince combined.

He is not worth 20 mil. bc he can't generate that kind of money on his own. Maybe on a good matchup, with everybody putting up a good work, but with the economy the way it is it'd doubtfull. The only fight that could guarantee him that much is Pacman if he beats Hatton.
If he was asking for 10-15 million guaranteed and 60-65% of the split, he would be getting fights for sure.
11player, I disagree...Oscar, Ricky, Arturo, Zab, Carlos all had their biggest payday fighting Floyd so he does generate money.....he definitely deserve 20 million

He should get 10 mil, with a 50/50 with whoever he is fighting. He wasn't a great seller on PPV before Oscar. hatton has a big fanbase, so thats why he sold a lot.
Geronimo ban will not be in vain
the link says shit you stupid douchbag.
BIP Geronimo....it looks like you are no longer with us.....may you ban in piece.
